Ryuu sat up on the rooftop, his back up against the metal chain link fence that ran along the entire border of the rooftop, as he gingerly touched the cut he had on his cheek, which was just one of three cuts he had on his face, one on his other cheek, and one on his forehead. "... For a bunch of jocks, they sure like their rings..." His knees were bent slightly as his left arm rested on his knee, before pulling away his other hand, which now had some blood on his fingertips. The sunlight that had been pouring through the slightly opened blinds in his room had made the room incredible bright, but also disturbed Ryuu's slumber. And when Ryuu was woken up unexpectedly, he usually ended up in a silent but bad mood. He had gotten through his morning classes okay, mostly because he kept silent or caught a bit of sleep if he could.
By the time lunch came around, Ryuu was a little bit revived, but the noise in the cafeteria was not helping him, and he ended up colliding into a guy and sending his lunch tumbling to the ground, so he fled to the rooftop, to escape and get some peace and quiet, though it seemed that wasn't going to happen. The guy had gathered some of his friends and chased after Ryuu, once he managed to catch up with Ryuu on the rooftop, they began to lay some smack down on Ryuu, who didn't let them off injury-free, he had handed them some injuries too. He sighed, before getting up, only to hear the sound of ripping from behind. The back of his shirt had caught on the wire. This must be what they mean by, "Being kicked while you are down." Ryuu pulled off the t-shirt he wore, before slamming it down in frustration, leaving him shirtless, and sat back down on the rooftop, his gray overcoat folded neatly beside him.
He had nothing to eat, since he left his lunch at home, as his stomach growled. He then picked his white t-shirt up, it was ripped anyways, what was one more rip going to do, and ripped part of it, as he wrapped a strip of it around his forehead, tying it at the back, making a headband, to try and stop the bleeding, and while it helped, some of the blood managed to soak through. Unfortunately, he was now in a really bad mood, and was ready to vent his frustrations on the next person that walked through that door, though he tried to keep his anger in check, for the sake of the person that decided to come up here. It was just one of those days...

Emily too wasn't really having much of a good day. She had missed her first class because she slept in. It's what she got for working until twelve and studying for an hour before sleeping. She got all the sleep she had needed though, so at that point she tried to think positively. Emily was rather temperamental about things, but she preferred to stay neutral even though she spilled her juice at the hallway before her third class and when she had totally forgotten to bring her textbook on the class after that.
Man, when you get stressed like this - sometimes you just want to get away from it all. Find a nice comfy place with a great view, watch the world go by. Most of that could've been achieved if Emily decided to skip school, but instead decided to take her lunch up at the rooftop. Yup, the only good thing she was looking forward to this noon was a bentou she had prepared last night from dinner's leftovers. Chaofan onigiri, Curry and some iced tea.
It was weird on the way on the rooftop, though. There were a group of students who ran downstairs. Probably escaping from someone. Emily had a feeling she knew who was responsible, but decided to go upstairs anyway. The door would open with a click, and Emily blinked at who she saw. It was Ryuu! He pulled off a pissed off attitude that was quite obvious from the first glance. "Um, Hi Ryuu." She said, "Did I come at a bad time?"

"No..." Ryuu replied quietly, the frustrated look on his face disappearing the moment he saw it was Emily, "Well yes, but it's fine. C'mon, sit beside me, I won't bite, I promise." If Emily sat down beside him, Ryuu would move his overcoat to the other side, as he sat against the chain link fence, staring up at the clear blue sky, sunlight shining on him, as his arms rested on his knees. It was a warm spring day, so Ryuu didn't have to worry about freezing, especially since he had no shirt on. "You ever have one of those days," Ryuu suddenly said, as he turned his head to look over at Emily, "Where everything seems to go wrong, and you just want to find a place to watch the world go by, but you also can't help but feel the need to vent your frustrations out somehow, someway?"
Ryuu's stomach continued to growl softly, but Ryuu ignored it. "It's just one of those days for me," Ryuu continued, looking back up at the sky, the headband he wore over the cut on his forehead fluttering slightly from the light breeze that blew, "Today really sucked, but seeing you, I guess today wasn't a complete drag." Ryuu looked down at Emily, smiling slightly at her, before remembering he had no shirt on, she could see not only his muscular arms, but his developed six-pack and the metal crucifix necklace he constantly wore around his neck constantly as well, and blushed slightly, turning his head away from her. Once his blush was gone, he turned his head back, facing forward once more. "Now if only my stomach would shut up." He gingerly touched the cut on his face with his right hand, wincing slightly, then the other cut, before pulling it away, more blood now on his hand. Damn jocks and their stupid rings, all three of them had given Ryuu a cut each, but he gave them more injuries than they inflicted on him before they fled.

Emily promptly nodded and took a seat right next to Ryuu, as he had offered. She quickly noticed that he didn't have a shirt on, and wondered about it. She just blushed at the thought and made sure not to look. It was quite scary though, how she was so embarrassed to him in comparison to the handful of guys she had seen shirtless. "Oh, you're talking to a girl who missed her first class, spilled the drink she bought from the canteen, and forgot an important textbook for class." She sighed, "I haven't gotten much sleep either. Kinda want to skip school and take a nap for once."
Emily placed her items by the floor, slightly paranoid that they'd fall over in spite of the fence. She laughed lightly at Ryuu's comment, "I don't see why I'm the sunshine on your rain, but thanks." She chuckled, taking her bentou and placing it by her thighs. "You can have some of my lunch...? I got late trying to cook it, I guess. My fault."
She laughed, looking at Ryuu to notice a few details. "You're bleeding. Did you fight those guys that almost ran over me by the stairs? Want me to fix those up for you? Using a ripped up shirt isn't sanitary, no matter how much you've showered."

"Sounds like your day was just as great as mine," Ryuu laughed, "Don't tell me you've become an insomniac now? I wish I could skip school and take a nap, but with everything that's happened, we don't exactly have a pause button now do we?" Ryuu stared up at the sky, as he watched a few wispy clouds drift by lazily. "Trust me, seeing you, is the highlight of my day. I was woken up early rather rudely by the sun, forgot my lunch at home, collided with a jock in the cafeteria and sent his lunch tumbling to the ground, ended up being chased by said jock and his friends, got a smack down before they fled from being injured more by me than the injuries they inflicted on me. Yeah, I think seeing you is the sunshine in my rain." Ryuu smiled slightly, as he shook his head in polite refusal. "It's alright, I won't die from starving for one day. Besides, it's your lunch, you cooked it, you should enjoy it, though next time, if you are late, I'd suggest making a sandwich instead." Ryuu laughed along with Emily as he saw her look at him.
"Yeah, I fought those guys, they tried to lay a smack down on me, damn jocks and their stupid rings, cutting my face up. As you wish," Ryuu replied, as he smiled bitterly briefly, before shrugging his shoulders casually, as he untied the headband around his forehead, revealing the cut on his forehead, "And what do you mean no matter how much I shower? I shower everyday, thank you very much." Ryuu teased, as he sat still, letting Emily do whatever she needed to do. He did notice however, how close in proximity they were to each other, as he blushed slightly, but all the same, kept still regardless. Once she was done, Ryuu smiled at her. "Sounds like the both of us could use something to vent all the crap we went through today." Ryuu paused, as he tried to think of a way, but no matter how much he thought, the only thing he could come up with was... "Emily? This might sound completely insane and weird, okay, it is, but fight me. The both of us need something to vent our frustrations out, and I can't think of any better way than to use me as a punching bag?"
Ryuu would then stand up, his necklace flying out before coming to a rest on his chest as he picked his overcoat up, and pulled it on, leaving it open, exposing his torso, as it fluttered slightly from the light spring breeze. "How about it? You don't have to if you don't want to, but it would help both of us out slightly."

Aye, Ryuu had a rather rough day as well. Emily just heaved a heavy sigh. What a morning! Emily was watching Ryuu as he talked about his day, slightly blushing when he confirmed the idea of her being Little miss sunshine of the day. Well, that was reaffirming, at least. Emily took one of her chaofan onigiri though, offering her lunch to Ryuu by lifting it to his chest level. Good thing about asian cultures was that it was bad to accept things too soon, and worse to deny gifts -- or maybe that was a filipino thing, Emily could't tell. "I insist. One onigiri wouldn't be too bad to take, ne? And yes, I'll consider a sandwich after I've bought myself some bread, kay?"
Emily laid the unfinished food back at the lunchbox, as her other hand went and used it's Qi on his wounds. Her hands would merely caress his cheeks to get a good feel of the wound, and her fingertips were heated to a significant amount. The bleeding would instantaneously stop after having Emily's fingers brush over them once. "There, sorry if that stung a bit. Sure, you shower everyday." Sarcasm was something Emily used scarcely, if any at all. She just chuckled and took the onigiri she was previously eating for a last bite before poking Ryuu's nose gently. A playful gesture that left him with a grain of rice sitting on top of his nose. It looked funny, but Emily just snickered to herself. Maybe he'd figure it out later.
He then suddenly offered fighting her. Tempting offer, actually. "Hmm, let me think about it." She paused for a second. "'Kay, sure. I'm up for it. Where do you want it? Here?"

"Hai hai," Ryuu sighed, giving in and took one chaofan onigiri from Emily's lunchbox after she had lifted it up to his chest level, "Good, so buy some bread if you can soon, and put it in the freezer." He took a bite of the onigiri, to make his stomach shut up, but had to stop and lower it when he felt Emily's hands gently caress where the cuts were on his cheeks and forehead, as he winced slightly from the sting, but kept still and waited as patiently as he could for Emily to finish. "It's okay, it only stung slightly," Ryuu replied, as he felt the cuts cauterize, "Thanks." He couldn't help but smile at the sarcasm he heard in Emily's tone of voice, he hadn't heard her be sarcastic before, as he popped the last bit of his onigiri in his mouth. "Hey, what was that for?" He exclaimed teasingly, as she poked his nose gently.
He returned the playful gesture and poked her nose back gently, leaving a single grain of rice on her nose just like she had done to him, as he grinned mischievously at her. "That was fast," He commented, noting how she accepted his offer without hesitation, "Yeah, here. Since we're already here, right?" He then stood up, and walked to the middle of the rooftop, before facing Emily and going into his stance, his legs slightly apart to prevent leg sweeps, as he adjusted the black flameproof fingerless gloves he wore before holding his right hand out in front, his palm flat, the back of his hand facing Emily, his left hand hidden behind his back. He would wait for Emily to prepare herself, as he focused and prepared himself, a faint smile on his face, while the light breeze blew his hair and overcoat back. They had sparred against each other before, but that was because they were teaching and practicing with each other, they never had a spar just for fun before. It would certainly be an interesting spar, that's for sure.

Well, Emily didn't notice the rice on her nose, but it looked quite funny from afar. Ryuu looked ready to fight, and Emily was far from ready right now. Why? It wouldn't be much of a fight if she was too strong. Setting her lunch aside, she slipped off her ballet shoes, gloves, and everything else that enhanced her abilities. She had only her clothes on at this point, at was barefoot until she took a pair of wooden sandals from her bag. They were quite noisy when Emily made a step, so that was yet another advantage for Ryuu. "There we go." She said, "We're pretty even at this point, but we'll see just how even."
Emily took defensive stance, "Why don't you try to hit me?" She taunted him, taking a leaf out of his book and gave him the universal gesture for "bring it on" -- with a small variation: a wink. "That is, if you can - Ryuu Hikari."

Likewise, Ryuu didn't notice the grain of rice on his nose, and probably would not until later more than likely. He waited patiently for Emily to get ready, gaping slightly in surprise when he saw her begin to pull off most of the clothing she was wearing, leaving her in the clothing she wore underneath, as well as barefoot, until he saw her pull out a pair of wooden sandals from her bag that was quite noisy when she walked. "We shall see indeed..." Ryuu replied, as he saw Emily go into a defensive stance, and taunt him, even taking a page out of his book and giving him the universal gesture for "Bring it on," adding in her own touch, a wink. "It would be my pleasure - Emily Delos Santos." He teased back, smirking mischievously at her, as he paused for a minute, before launching himself forward, running at full speed at her.
Still keeping his left arm hidden behind his back, his right arm held loosely out beside him, as he drew closer, he would pull his right arm back, rearing it back, once he got close enough to Emily, he would launch a right underhand hook, aiming for her stomach, keeping his left arm at the ready, in case he, and more than likely would have to, use it to block or counter Emily's strike. She wasn't his superior in Militia and Tessenjutsu teacher for nothing after all. If his strike was blocked or grabbed, he would surge forward, despite that, and snapping his left arm out instantly, would aim a quick strike with his index and middle finger extended out at the top of her ribs, just below the plate of bone covering her heart, to try and knock the wind out of her.

Ryuu was quick, but Emily had fought with much faster opponents before. Linda being one notable example. The girl pulled her right foot a bit forward and a bit apart from her other foot as to create a better center of balance for herself. This fight was surely going to be very interesting. Emily had left her hands down, slightly relaxed to conserve energy.
Ryuu was aiming to do a right hook on her; with the power of the strike going upward, Emily had already found what to do. She shifted her other foot to her back and leaned back, her center of balance leaning closer to her left foot than the fight. Here, Emily would've dodged the uppercut enough. His fist would be shot up, exposing to her his ribs - Emily would merely pull her left hand back, and attempt to hit right at the boy's floating ribs. Her strike wasn't strong enough to break it, but it would be enough to make his lungs lose some air.
Should it miss or not, Emily would pivot herself to the right to try and do a full circle, and do a roundhouse kick towards the lumbar area of Ryuu's back. It would sincerely hurt if it succeeded, as the Lumbar area carried the burden of the entire upper body, and it was very vulnerable by nature.
Note: Emily's stats are a flat 55 all.

His strike had been dodged. Not a big deal, seeing as Ryuu expected it to happen at the very least. He had seen her reaction time before, when they had first started their Tessenjutsu and Kenjutsu training a while back. He saw her pull her left hand back as his right arm shot up into the air, as she let loose a strike right at his ribs. The strike connected, knocking some of the wind out of him, as he doubled over, pretending to be injured by her strike more than he actually was, as he kept a close eye on Emily's body movement. The minute he saw her pivot herself to the right, to try and do a full circle, he hooked his foot behind the leg keeping her balanced, and yanked her leg towards him, attempting to trip her and make her fall backwards on her butt.
He then unhooked his foot from behind and strafed back, the roundhouse kick she attempted ending up hitting him in his ribs, instead of his lumbar area. Wincing slightly from the pain, his ribs probably fractured... again, Ryuu shoved the pain aside, and surged forward, as a smirk slowly formed on his face as he closed the distance between him and Emily. His hands loosely out beside him, the minute she tried to get up, if she fell, he would rear his left arm back and send a flat, open palm strike, aiming for her ribs, his right arm not far behind, aiming as well for her ribs. If one failed to connect, hopefully the other one would.

Well, when you are spinning like that - it would he tough to see things going down from below. Emily was successfully tripped right as soon as her kick had connected with Ryuu's ribs. Though that was a good move, Emily wouldn't exactly let him get the advantage.
Pivoting herself as soon as she landed, Emily would be on her side and would try to do a horse kick right onto Ryuu's knee. The joints were universal sites of weakness, and kicking the knee from the front would cause Ryuu to momentary lose balance and control over his stance. After which she followed with pulling herself up. At this point, Ryuu would've sent a palm (and actually two) towards Emily's ribs. She would return them with palm strikes of her own, and the two would end up pushing against the other.
Should it work, Emily would entwine her fingers onto Ryuu's and grip it upwards to lock it into a painful checkmate. "You'd want to keep your fingers, don't you?"
XD I can't seem to think straight. PM me if anything is questionable. I needa get sleep. ><

Well Ryuu did manage to successfully trip Emily, he saw her pivot as soon as she landed, ending up on her side, as he saw her attempt to horse kick his knee as he surged forward. He lifted his leg up, and while her kick didn't connect with his knee, it did however, connect with his shin, making him cringe from the pain, giving Emily ample time to get up. The kick didn't stop him though, as he continued forwards, sending two palm strikes towards Emily's ribs, as she, in turn, retaliated with two palm strikes of her own, as the two of them ended up pushing against each other. She then entwined her fingers onto his, and gripped it upwards, locking them into a painful checkmate. "I still like my fingers, thank you very much." He retorted, as he began to try to push her backwards across the rooftop.
And considering he had been able to push her back before, when they had first started their training, he would probably be able to do it again, unless she pushed back against him. He smirked mischievously at her, their faces in close proximity, considering Ryuu had leaned forward while he pushed against her. As he began to lift his left foot, he would hook it behind her left leg once more, and yanked her leg towards him, tripping her once more. Unfortunately, just like the first time, because he had been so focused on the fight, he had forgotten that his hands were still in Emily's grip, so if she fell backwards, he would end up falling with her. OH SHI-- He would end up on top of her, as she was splayed out on the ground. (Or so it seems.) He would be the one who splayed her. (Or so it seems.) If anybody came walking onto the rooftop at this very moment, it would be awkward...

There was obviously a lot of tension between the two, as Emily herself began to notice that he didn't exactly always remember that they were both still holding each other as Ryuu tripped her. Emily fell flat on her back, slight pain and discomfort shooting from her back to the rest of her body, making her arch her back and writhe a bit only to realize one thing: Ryuu's face was planted onto her breasts.
Emily blushed madly, "U-Um... Ryuu?" She said, "... I don't feel comfortable like... this..."
Emily was not helping Ryuu actually, by writhing and moving. Her body would rub against... places. Master of the human body, and yet was still clueless on several things.

If Ryuu could talk, he would. Unfortunately, his face was planted in Emily's chest, so all she would hear would be muffled words. You think I like this Emily? Why does this always happen? Why do I always have a temporary lapse in memory when trying that move? And why is my face still planted in Emily's chest!? It sure didn't help that Emily was writhing and moving underneath him, and considering the fact he had no shirt on, her body was rubbing up against well, certain places. You're not helping by moving around so much underneath me Emily... T__T Planting his elbows firmly on the ground, Ryuu would lift himself up as much as he could while his hands were still in her grip, as he took in deep breaths of fresh air.
"S-S-S-Sorry Emily!!" He exclaimed, blushing furiously, it wasn't helping that his face was still close to hers, and he could smell the scent she always wore. Looking slightly surprised by this, Ryuu couldn't help but stare into Emily's eyes, which wasn't hard, considering how close in proximity they were. He then leaned down towards her, and kissed Emily on her lips... again. This was the second time he had kissed her. Only difference was, this time, he kind of knew what it was he was doing. His elbows the only thing supporting him and keeping him from falling down onto her once more, Ryuu didn't really care about that right now, to be honest. And who would, really? He was slightly worried if Emily would slap him for this, she hadn't the first time, but that was way at the back of his head, he was more or less focusing on what was happening right now.
