“.. Forget it.”
An angry fist slammed down on the table, as he sat there calm and composed, with one boot up against the seat that he sat at, in the form of a lazy man, but in the tone of voice he knew he meant business. Those tattered jeans and shirt, both of them dark as night, only covered by a dark green trench coat. As the candle on the table continued to burn down just slightly.. Only slower, and slower, as the conversation went on.
“You’re makin’ a BIG mistake, Armitage!”
A thick Brooklyn accent echoed. Hunter only smiled, as he shook his head in disgust, while in his seat. This guy was starting to get more annoying, but if he wanted to talk business, he’d have to up the ante a little more. However, Hunter was more interested in causing trouble, not making more for himself. And this, well this wasn’t the best choice of plans.
“Look, if you want to play businessman; drekhead. Take your other two boy-scouts and get out of my face. No deal.”
The man in the suave beige suit gritted his teeth before standing up and brushing himself off lightly. Hunter still remained where he was. As rain pattered down from the outside window, this was obviously going to be a short, but tough and rigid conversation.
“We’ll be watchin’ you, Armitage. You’re gonna regret not accepting the job.”
“Is that so..? Tell Vlad that he can bite me. I’ve got the best skills in this town and you all freakin’ know it.”
He growled, as Hunter shot back smugly. Before snapping his fingers, and his bodyguards left the booth. Hunter relaxed back into the seat of the chair in the side. Letting out a deep and frustrated sigh.. He did have the skills, and everyone knew it, but he didn’t take just ANY job. No sir, Hunter was.. Picky of who he conversed with. But even so—
“Your check, sir.”
“Wait.. What? I didn’t eat anything!”
Hunter looked surprised at the waiter, as he looked at the giant amount of money that was on the paper.
“What the-- ?! One Hundred dollars?!”
“The gentleman that walked out that you were eating with said that you’d be kindly paying for his food.”
Hunter went from surprised, to extremely pissed.. That jerk had walked right out, without anything else except this on his shoulders now. He scowled as he promptly searched his pockets, but even he knew that he would be in quite a rut, the answer was simple.
Hunter had no money.
This was going to be rather awkward, and obviously not very fun in itself. He growled as he patted all of his pockets frantically.
“Well.. Shit..”

Max saw that there was an argument going on in the restaurant. He noticed that it was a three on one if it turned into a fight. Not good, Max hide behind the corner to watch what was going to happen. It seemed the three men left. Phew, Max was about to walk away when he heard something else. Something about a check, what he heard next was not good.
“Well … Shit…”
Max turned around the corner and saw the kid frantically checking his pockets. He must have forgot his wallet. Eh, why can’t he just walk away sometimes.
“Excuse me. I overheard something about the check. How much was it?” the waiter told him it was one hundred dollars. Where there goes some of his money. “Ok. Here you go.” The waiter took the money and walked away. Now to get down to business.
“So what was all that about anyways? I mean with the three guys.”

Gabriel sat far enough away from the common seating today. A small beaded veil hung between the two sections a commodity that no higher class family could do without. Their perfect worlds couldn't bear the contamination upon the plate before them. A small gesture of his hand flicked a strand of hair out of his eyes. Gabriel didn't care much for their likes though he did enjoy the slight veil of secrecy that kept those behind it talking. A pound emerged from the other side and startled murmurs from amongst the upper class. They were curious more than afraid. They wanted to see the peasants kill one another. Such a Roman thing to do.
Gabriel sat calmly within his seat peering through the beaded veil. A finger shifted them a bit open so he could partake in the game watching the larger of the two show his bravado against the waiter and then another appear out of kindness? Gabriel tensed. Kindness or rather pity? A move like that would have upset Gabriel though pride ran deep in his veins. Emerald eyes gleamed as he picked them each out. Who would win in the end...? just another game.

So, would he be doomed to washing dishes for the rest of the night? Would all be drowned in a heaping sorrow of what would be known as Pinesol dish detergent that would totally soil and prune his hands to whatever notion that would end his clammy little handed life?! Would this be the end of our--?
So soon?
Nah.
Hunter had the feeling that he just wanted to book it out the door, but obviously this wasn't going to be the easiest way of doing things, perhaps busting out the window and causing more of a scene with his Cyberdeck. He could easily hack the store system and police system later and get him off the record but that would be time wasting and--
“Excuse me. I overheard something about the check. How much was it?”
Eh?
“Ok. Here you go.”
So a random passerby decided to just go all good samaritan and pull a freakin' hundred out of his butt for a random stranger who didn't look anything like a prestigious person, moreso a foolish boy who'd been tramping about in the muddy streets for too long.
Touche?
Perhaps.. Maybe this was one of Vlad's men.
The waiter walked away promptly, leaving Hunter only in sight of this.. Scrawny young man.
He eyed him up and down quickly.
"Cheers, chummer." (By "Chummer" he means somewhat recognized friend.)
He would start to walk away, only to be held by a phrase at his footstep.
“So what was all that about anyways? I mean with the three guys.”
His eyes narrowed down slightly, this might be getting suspicious if he didn't know any better. And Hunter didn't like suspicious people.
".. You part of Lone Star or something? What's your angle?" (Police; in his lingo is "Lone Star")

“Far from it. Let’s just say that maybe I could use some help. Maybe not right this second but what if I did? You wouldn‘t let the stranger that just helped you out get trampled right?”
Max would sit down and make himself comfortable. He would then start to push everything off the table. Not letting anything break but to make room for them to talk. As max would wait to see what the kid said he would begin to tap his fingers. He would look up at the kid and give him one of those sit down gestures with his head. Max wasn’t going to let this kid get away. He better pay him or he would need some help. The kid would be paying services to him. Nothing to bad but the stuff max didn’t want to do. This was going to be the biggest thing that has happened since… well, since forever. Max would see if the kid caught his drift or would he have to explain.

Curious very Curious. It would seem as that the smaller of the two in the other room who had narrowly avoided conflict would be sitting down to... talk? Now that was anti-climactic. Gabriel made a faint grin and an audible grunt at his disappointment. Perhaps he'd get lucky and one would offend the other or maybe even happen to have a meteor hit the restaurant... What it could happen...
So Gabriel went back to his regal meal undeterred by the conflict any longer. Perhaps if it were to get any more irritating he'd pop in and cause a bit of mischief till then he could always eavesdrop.

“Far from it. Let’s just say that maybe I could use some help. Maybe not right this second but what if I did? You wouldn‘t let the stranger that just helped you out get trampled right?”
He raised a brow. So, if he wasn't part of Lone Star, but he was talking business.. This didn't sound too nice. But there was a certain.. Fingerprint that he couldn't put on this young man. Even so, this wasn't the best place to be making business decisions. Especially since his Datajack was going off in his pocket for quite some time, unheard by everyone but himself.
That meant a listener..
But still, business was business.. And this wasn't going to be quite the factorial. Nor the ideal place, but even so, Hunter had his doubts about what the whole deal was with the guy. Especially since he was asking for business. This wasn't exactly the best time to do it, so he just laughed.
"Ha.. Ha.. Ha.. So you want to talk business eh, chummer?"
He then proceeded to get up from the table, and slide slowly towards him.
"Look kid, I'm in enough crap as it is. It's not everyday you're trying to be tracked by deckers and hitmen all the freakin' time.."
Slowly, he looked inside his trenchcoat, looking at his Datajack.. And there was indeed a signature coming from one of the tables, that was near him, housing a black haired fellow. His signature was red. Obviously a threat. He looked over at his samaritan though..
"However.."
Walking over to the fellow at the table now..
".. I don't know about you, chummer. But I don't like drekheads listening on my personal conversations!!.."
He slammed his hand on the watching fellow's table to grab his attention, before promptly turning towards the young man again who'd paid his bill.
".. So, what do you REALLY want?"
Hunter was under the impression that these two were working together, he was just going to make one of them talk first.

Max laughed at the boy. He thought that Max was working with Gabriel. Now that was funny. Why would he work for him? It would go against most things and they were not anything alike. Were they? It didn’t matter though. He was not working with him.
“No. I don’t work with anyone. Why he is here I don’t know. I seem to find that quite suspicious too.”
Max stood up out of the booth. Why was he here? Was he following him or was it by chance? It was bothering him and he was going to find out.

Gabriel's hand ran up to his cheek a rather bored expression played on his face as the two young men approached his table apparently making a big deal about the random occurrence that had happened. Rather than become defensive of his nature Gabriel simply played coy ignoring either of their sentiments. His face revealed little more than a bored look. Indeed he'd never had any interest in either of them the only thing he truly wanted to happen out of all f this is perhaps cause the two to go at it with one another. He gave a careless grin knocking the hair out of his eyes.
"You're not hard to overhear," Gabriel explained briefly and undeterred by the momentary lapse of violence he felt sweltering about the air.
Gabriel didn't laugh though he was becoming quite amused at this point. Had his presence altered the status quo? "Seems you two need to work on your trust issues..." Gabriel gave the larger one he didn't know a quick look.
If he could sow descent within the two they'd end up tearing each others limbs off, if not it could face a 2v1 opportunity either way it was win win. He liked those odds. Odds he set in place.

[ooc: ALLOOOOOOOO]
Gabriel was Matrim's main concern. Not that he was fascinated with the kid or anything, but because he felt like toying with him. So Matrim would give him yet another reason to hate him, and the best part was, he didn't mind picking on him outside of school. Wasn't being sneaky fun?
So as if from nowhere, giving Gabriel and the others no chance to spot him before he could attack by staying low before making his move, Matrim would jump into the air from behind Gabriel, and halfway through saying the phrase 'trust issues' Gabriel would most likely find himself going face first into his meal, with Matrim's foot planting into the back of his head. Matrim would continue forward by stepping off of the back of Gabriel's head continuing the forward momentum, and land on the other side of the table yelling....
"DYNAMIC ENTRY!!!!!!"
Matrim would turn around and face everyone, "Come on, let's all fight!" Matrim said in a very unfamiliar voice. He was... a little out of it at the moment.
I don't like this....
Shut up, B.

“No. I don’t work with anyone. Why he is here I don’t know. I seem to find that quite suspicious too.”
Uh huh.. Now that wasn't suspicious at all.. Nope, not one bit. No thinly disguised subliminal messages there! Nope!.. Well, maybe he was telling the truth, considering Hunter eyed him up and down carefully. And then to the other fellow. They obviously didn't have too much in common, nor did they look like to be in cahoots.
Buuut..
There was always the exception.
"You're not hard to overhear"
... Dick.
"Seems you two need to work on your trust issues..."
Well, more like just Hunter did. But this guy!.. This guy, just wanted to hit him in the face, punch him in that pretty boy face of his and them mush it into the ground. Oooh boy was his blood boiling now.
And then.. The moment of opportunity knocked.
"DYNAMIC ENTRY!!!!!!"
Well.. It was certainly.. Dynamic. That's for sure. With an entrance like that you couldn't deny it.
"Come on, let's all fight!"
=D?!
He would then take the opportunity to throw a punch right into Mr. Pretty boy (Gabe) In the face!

(ooc: Joe I loled)
"DYNAMIC ENTRY!!!!!!"
WTF HAXX?!?!
Gabriel hardly got the opportunity to react as a large boot smacked him in the rear of his head sploshing his face straight into a pool of soup he'd been eating. Clearly this meal would have to go interrupted. His eyes clenched and fists as well. Clearly angered he swallowed down the anger with much relinquich. Of course it had to be Matirm... was the fellow stalking him? They seemed to continuously be bumping into one another. Damn fate!
"Come on, let's all fight!"
Gabriel sat up fighting back the urge to make the first punch. No he knew if he fought now his entire training was for naught. And even if he did go into a fight he'd have to hold back... for Matrim's sake if anything was to be revealed it would end poorly.
Pulling out a napkin he cleared his face of the noodles and chicken that cluttered his figure. A calm approach came now concealing the rage behind his eyes.
"Care to tell me why...?" Gabriel spoke defiantly
He turned only to take a fist in the face. The surprise of it didn't give Gabriel the opportunity to move considering he was still caught in the stall though he would certainly return the favor if not in a short amount of time. On a roll he knocked what was left of his soup into the boy's face probably burning a bit and Gabriel would pounce up keeping a short distance away from Matrim. He knew if he was to fight he ould have to handicap himself. Strategic loss indeed. And how it annoyed him so.

Ok. So that was totally random. A guy jumps out of nowhere and smashes Gabriel’s face into pie, Gabriel just sits their and now they want a all out brawl. Yeah right, Max would get his ass handed to him horribly. Max didn’t feel like it at the moment so he decided to slowly back away. Not to fast or else someone would notice him. He was going back to the other booth. Since they were talking he was hoping no one would see him. Had it worked, he hoped so.

"Not so fast," Matrim said to the kid who slowly was backing away, "Come on kid, think about it, I did say three on one, of course if Gabriel and this kid want to tumble with each other that is their business..."
After the soup was kicked Matrim stomped down on the edge of the table nearest him, throwing his hand across the side that came up at him to swipe away the contents of the table so he could grab and lift the table up over his head and throw it at the kid who threw a punch at Gabriel (Hunter). He would run after the table and kick towards where the kids head was so that if he caught the table Matrim could kick through it, or if he threw the table out of the way it might serve as a distraction.
I'll avoid attacking the one who backed away....

"Not so fast"
Hunter didn't care right now, he was too busy hitting Pretty Boy. That was the laughing part of it at least, but things were about to get much more interesting.
"Come on kid, think about it, I did say three on one, of course if Gabriel and this kid want to tumble with each other that is their business..."
Suddenly, before Hunter could react, out of the corner of his eye, he could see a table swiping at him from a distance. Hunter backed up a bit, catching the table narrowly in time before he'd be--
*Crack*
His eyes widened with surprise, as a foot came tearing through the table with strong force, hitting Hunter in the right chest area, the force was so great, that the table tore in two peices each peice flying in a different direction as it broke in half sending Hunter flying towards the nearest wall.
"Argh..!"
He hit the closest booth with a strong thud. Before getting up, his eyes searing with anger at a sudden shot. There was no blood to be had on him though, as he would quickly look around for any resources that he could use.
He eyed some plates on the table that he'd just hit, quickly picking each of the saucer dishes up and others promptly throwing them like throwing stars at each of the other three brawlers.
Oooh yeah, this was going to be a good one.
