Hm... Well that went better then she had expected... Sara took the bag from him as he slid it off his shoulder. He seemed like he hadn't even heard her question until he had looked at her, but she guessed she could understand his concentration on everything going on around them. She slung the bag over her own shoulder as she jogged to keep pace with him. The baby was still crying and attracting attention, but he didn't seem to be crying crying, more just crying for the hell of it now.
Sara took a second to take in Matrim hugging his son to his chest and she felt such a sense of longing that she had to look away, her eyes going back to scanning the area. She didn't really understand what was going on in her head, but she knew it was probably best to just not go there for now... or ever... "
The finally reached the lounge, and with a sigh and a final glance around, she entered after Matrim. She waited behind him, looking around at the teachers lounge as he cleared a spot for himself. She had never been in the teachers lounge before, and doubted she would ever get a chance again, so she was going to get a good look while she could.
"Can you get a bottle of formula out of his bag and microwave some up for Shayne?"
Sara paused and then turned nervous eyes towards the microwave. Heat some up? She glanced down at the bag hanging from her shoulder. "Ah.. Yeah. Sure..."
She walked over and set the bag on the counter next to the microwave and proceeded to reach inside for the formula. Truth was... She didn't really even know what she was looking for... She cast nervous glances behind her as Matrim talked to Shayne. What she did know... Was that you never heat formula in a microwave... " Poor kid... Her hand touched a bottle and she pulled it out. And thank god, it had what appeared to be formula in it. Well that saved her from having to mix it.
Calmer after finding the already mixed formula, she laughed softly as he spoke to the baby about her. As it stood, she would love nothing more then to spend time with the two of them. "Matrim... You don't actually heat the formula in the microwave do you...?" She glanced quickly at him, hoping she wasn't offending him or anything, but she wasn't about to do something stupid, so without waiting for his answer, she went to the sink at the other end of the counter. She turned on the hot water and held her finger under it until it was hot, then she stuck the bottle under the flowing water.
She waited for a few moments, then pulled the bottle back out and turned it upside down, testing the warmth on her arm. Satisfied, she turned and walked over to Matrim and held out the bottle. "There..."
