David watched it all play out, crouched on the edge of a rooftop not far away.

'Interesting...'

David was prepared to join in, though he was really rather enjoying the show. A school Captain who was the victim of the exact same thing he was trying to put Gabriel through. Hypocritical, in his opinion, and humorous. The boy was trying to give Pain to Seran when doing so would only hurt the one whom gabriel had done it to. Davids research was moving nicely- Matrim being the first of his subjects to come under scrutiny. Luckily for him, Sara and Gabriel had both come into play, giving him a birds eye veiw of all thier motives and actions. He didn't want to step into the fray, he wanted to observe and record it.

He sighed, rolled his shoulders, and leaned against the flagpole that stuck up from the rooftop.

This would be MOST interesting...

[Aubrey Seran]

He managed to block her kick and so she was not free from his grasp. The car still ended up coming full speed ahead, but she had a quick plan.

Right when the car was close enough, Aubrey was set into its path, though she used her legs to run backwards up the cars door, then her toes would slide agains the roof, letting the car pass without hitting her. The car would keep going, maybe even hitting Matrim. Though she was sure as hell glad she wasn't hit by the car.

If the car hit him or not, she was sent back too, she couldn't tell what happened, after all this event occured all too fast.

And out of nowhere, there there was a fourth party member. She demanded them stop attacking him? Well, Aubrey was the one getting burned, Matrim was the first one who started it!

[Eva Fortescue]

Eva felt the car hit her target. The momentum of her e-break sent the rest of the car slamming into the school wall. At least she came to a complete stop. Her body jolted to the side, but was held in place by her seatbelt. A little dazed, she shook her head and saw that Lady Seran was still in the grasp of her offender, which meant she had almost ran into her as well. She wasn’t worried though and it may have been a stupid move to others, but she trusted that Aubrey wouldn’t get hurt, trusted her own abilities, and was all about the extremes.

In her business attire, she stepped out of the car and walked straight into the scene, behind her a line of smoke filtered out of her car’s hood. There was no emotion on her face, just a casual neutral one. Eva walked right past another girl that was yelling at the maniac that held onto Aubrey. She didn’t know what she was ranting on about, but hopefully she got through to the fucking asshole.

“Pardon my lateness Gabriel…”

She was standing beside him now, her eyes never leaving Aubrey or the other two that surrounded her. All they could do was wait now. Sudden movements were unacceptable at this moment. Her mind was ever calculating. If the short girl failed to talk Alpha, the name the girl had called him, out of it, Eva would find a way.

[Gabriel Seran]

Gabriel had no effect on the monster, he was too fast. It made no difference the only person he loved now, her life was hanging in the balance and he hated Matrim for it. Though he wouldn't be as weak as Matrim had, the fiend was pathetic truly a sorry waste of life. His face scrunched under the scrutiny of it all. This mirrored the event that took place only weeks ago, Reira in Aubrey's position while Gabriel and Matrim took their other sides. Is this how it felt? This helplessness. But in the same instant it didn't matter Gabriel would not be as weak as Matrim a man who valued titles over human lif eand spent his killing, like on the roof top, he'd been through war had killed. While Gabriel knew the value of a life and chose to save even his bitter rival.

'I should have let you die that day Matrim, how wrong I was, but I will not make that mistake again next time we meet I'll kill you!'

Gabriel dropped to his knees hopeless worry in his eyes, Aubrey's life was worth more to him than a simple squabble, he'd never intend for an harm to befall her.

"Do what you want to me, let her go! I will not struggle... Just please I beg of you don't harm her..." Gabriel shouted above the chaos red fueling his sight.

Hate coursed through him, but above all else Aubrey was not to be harmed. She was not to be hurt, Gabriel was stronger than him stron enough to submitt when needed. Live to fight another day. Even if I die here... Know that I love you.

[Matrim Gallagher]

"Alpha, why...? Would Reira want this? What the hell would she think of you? This is ridiculous. And your son. How are you ever going to tell him you killed a girl for no reason?" Sara said, Matrim got up still gripping the girl by the neck. The car had hit him, but it hadn't done too awful much. Best part about being Matrim was being tough as a son of a bitch. Still, he had been cut up and his body felt horrible. Nothing broken, but damned if he wasn't sore as hell. He looked over at Sara, and threw the girl at her.

"SHUT THE HELL UP AND KNOW YOUR GOD DAMN PLACE!" He said, hoping to hurt Sara and possibly even hurt this girl some more. He didn't care, he would take on the lot of them if he had to. Of course, Gabriel had been talking just before Matrim threw the girl. Matrim turned back towards him and had a bit more to say, "I hope you're fucking happy. Reira died you son of a bitch!"

Then as Matrim turned back quickly to see Sara and the girl would most likely be close to hitting. Matrim caught a glimpse of the scar and that was the last bit, the bit of guilt that Matrim felt. Enough to give Beta some control.... enough to even the balance between them..... He simply ended his Qi and headed out, walking towards the door. The car would most likely be horribly wrecked, with a huge dent where Matrim had been hit. As he passed he would say out loud, "Gabriel, if you or any of your lackey's try to follow me.... I'll kill each and every one of you in your sleep."

And with that Matrim would leave the scene, hopefully without interruption considering Gabriel was probably more concerned with the girl, and that car was definitely out of commission.

[Sara Quinn]

Sara waited tentatively, biting her lip as she waited to see what he would do about what she said. She hoped to god it had to do with letting go of the girl- Oh look at that, it did...

He had thrown the girl at Sara. And while Sara could have easily dodged, she wouldn't. The girl was injured. She didn't need to be hurt more. Sara would lift her arms, ignoring Matrim's comments, and try to catch the girl as she came at her. Wearing a tank top, the shirt would shift as she moved, slightly exposing the scar on her chest.

The girl would hit Sara, and she would be knocked back, landing on her ass with the girl on top of her, but would try to cushion the blow for the girl as much as possible. Sara would shift out from under her, and lay her on the ground to look her over. "Are you ok...?" As she asked, Sara looked up to see Matrim leaving.

One more glance at the girl to make sure she was ok, and Sara would nod at whoever else was looking to make sure they had this covered. Then she would follow after Matrim. Probably a bad idea, but hell, she hadn't been doing anything smart lately right? "Matrim wait... Wait for me!"

[Eva Fortescue]

Eva watched as Gabriel fell to his knees, a look of distress on his face. Seeing him like his twisted her heart. She almost couldn’t bear it. Aubrey didn’t deserve this, Gabriel didn’t either. Eva felt her jaw clench and her fist do the same. Was there nothing she could do? A wave of fury washed over her. It was creeping up her chest and rested on the back of her tongue. How she wanted to hurt this Alpha fellow.

Eva flinched ever so slightly when the crazy guy shouted out abruptly to the girl. He then threw Aubrey to her and shouted a few more things she did not care about. Aubrey was safe, that was all the mattered. As Alpha walked away, she extended her hand to Gabriel. If he accepted she would help him up, let go, and walk over to Aubrey and the other girl.

A girl they owed a lot of thanks too.

“Lady Seran, are you alright?” she asked. She would give a quick examine of Aubrey and then looked towards the other girl. “Thank you for your assistance.” She didn’t say anything, only nodded and soon enough was off chasing after the Alpha character. Good luck.

Reaching up to her Bluetooth earpiece, she turned it on and called for an ambulance. Lady Seran’s burns were bad.

“I need an ambulance to come to Moral Crest High. There’s been a car crash…”

[Aubrey Seran]

Everything happened so fast. Next thing she knew, she was thrown into the girl's arms and she fell ontop of her. The impact hurt a bit, but better than a full on collide.

The mystery girl laid her on the ground and checked out her wounds. There was a scar on the girls' chest. Was it possible it had been from the same person?

"Merci...A bit damaged, but merci.." she then looked up to the others nodding, before heading off behind Matrim. Though oddly enough he was called by another name during this event. Aubrey's answer had also answered Eva's question, and she got up a little sore from the attacks that had been brought to her.

Eva called the ambulence and Aubrey went over to Gabriel to wrap her small arms around him, her eyes then watering from all the pain and fear she had just went though. "I'm sorry, Gabriel. I thought I could make him happy." she wiped the tears from her cheeks then a thought had popped into her mind.

"He walked off?" she coughed slightly from the damage that had been done to her throat from Matrim's tough grip. "From a fight? I don't know he just told me about school captains, and he said to win was through a fight. I could be wrong but doesn't giving up mean he lost?" they probably didn't care, but she would sure hope karma would have taken care of Matrim and made cause of losing his title.

[Gabriel Seran]

"She died because of you!" Gabriel shot back in a fiery voice filled with rage, "She died because you were weak and decided to fight for your title rather than surrender for her protection... In that instant you are weak." His voice hovered boarderline sobbing with the mix of anger, fear, and a loss of control sweltering about his features Matrim would pay for everything.

Gabriel's eyes shot distracted as Sara caught his cousin sailing into her, not like she had a choice but it didn't take long for him to shoot off in their direction afterward. He slid onto his knees wrapping his arms defensively around Aubrey not caring about anyone else. Not even Sara taking off after him, for whatever stupid reason. Tears welled up in his eyes but never dropped from their places as he restrained the flow of emotions. Hands traced over the marks at her neck concerned taking note of the damage. It wasn't too bad, things could have turned out very differently.

"No, do not be sorry... This was all my fault." He held her close shifting up to Eva who had already notified the ambulence surely on their way.

"Thank you." He mouthed to her very low before turning back onto Aubrey, "I don't think thats how it's worth and even if it did... Titles don't matter I wouldn't want anything of it."

He picked up his paper, and checked a name on his list.

Things were picking up nicely....

He turned, and walked through the roof door, on his way to his next destination.

[Eva Fortescue]

“The ambulance is on it’s way…”

Her voice was soft, with a hint of sadness in it. Her hazel eyes fell onto the two cousins hugging each other beside her. It was such a tender moment. Both showed tears in their eyes and Eva was the only one who successfully kept her emotions in check. It was hard. She hated seeing them like this. She wanted to scream and hurt something. Looking away, she glared at a patch of dirt at her feet. She would remember that man’s face. Gabriel’s monster.

She saw Gabriel mouth the words thank you to her, as she nodded respectfully. Moments later, the ambulance arrived along with the rest of the authorities. Paramedics rushed over to Aubrey and began checking her wounds. One of them stopped and talked to her.

“Are you hurt miss?”

“Don‘t worry about me, just focus all your attention on the two there.”

The guy nodded and began to direct the other paramedics into moving Aubrey into the ambulance. There was only room for one other passenger, which would be Gabriel.

“I’ll meet you two at the hospital, okay?”

Bowing to both of them, she walked off the field, fury building up inside her chest. She had to get stronger.

Well, her logic was wrong, but at least the ambulence showed up. They asked to check her wounds and she let them do their job. They then escorted her to the ambulence. There was one spot left for another to join them, and she was hoping it would be Gabriel. Nothing against Eva, she was thankful the girl helped, but she just wanted her cousin.

<<Merci, Eva.>> Aubrey thanked after Eva had told the two of them she would meet them in the hospital.

Aubrey tried not to move her neck as much, because it stung to do so. "Welcome to America, Aubrey." she laughed a little, taking the situation at hand lightly. Though she flinched a little when she laughed, because of the fact Matrim had a strong grip as well as too much motion being brought to her burned neck.
