Ryuu raised an eyebrow as Professor Doloyovich gave a hearty laugh before telling Thirteen she could bring a recorder, as long as she was willing to provide the recording to anyone who wanted to use it. "You're right, there are different kinds of power," Ryuu replied, as he shifted his gaze to look over at Gabriel, "Different powers have their different pros and cons. But they can also change who you are, who you used to be. It's how you use them, and when, that makes a world of difference." Ryuu then leaned back in his seat, as Professor Doloyovich took back control of the class, answering the questions that were asked in regards to the class itself, telling them there would be a quiz in one week, testing them on the knowledge they would learn in a few days, as well as a major test, but two quizzes would be given as well.
The slides would also be e-mailed to them the night before class, so that they would be able to print them out, and today's lecture would be e-mailed to them, as Ryuu smiled slightly, good, he was going to print them and the map, well, he had to print that out as well. They were then dismissed, as the screen went blank and the projector was shut down, as the lights came back on. Ryuu closed his binder and picked his bag up before placing it inside, along with his pencil bag. He then stood up, and held his bag over his right shoulder, as he waited for Emily, before walking out of the classroom with her, he would've waited for Emi and walk out with her, but she had to stay back after class, along with Sara sadly. "Goodbye Professor Doloyovich." Ryuu said to the teacher, before walking out the door.

Gabriel didn't acknowledge the bit of repetition on Ryuu's behalf, he knew he was right. Though it would be strange how all the students here didn't take any actual notes upon one another. Each seemed so encased within their own grades or notes that they neglected to take the true notes that mattered. The value of each other, what they kept within or even what what each other said. A small grin, no one knew what the true points were.
Gabriel turned to front as the teacher notified them f their assignment. Great some actual work behind this. No matter Gabriel always was a bit of a history nut. And Chinese history all seemed to revolve about power struggles amounting to dynasties though Gabriel didn't have the heart to keep that going on for very long, nor did he have the strength. All he knew was simply that the pillar system was one of dynasties past down by the strong not those with the best ideals.
He nodded after writing up the email and made way to leave swiftly before much acknowledgment from anyone.

Unfortunately for Gabriel, Adrian wasn't quite the moron the boy seemed to consider everyone else to be. He was clearly not sitting there with a pad and pen in hand writing down everyone's particular definition and application of power, no, but he, for one, was paying attention. In fact, one of the few reasons Adrian had pressed the issue so hard was the simple fact that he wanted to see what stances the rest of the class took on the subject. Satisfied, Adrian begun to classify the other students based on their opinions of power.
Adrian honestly only half-listened to Doloyovich's closing words for the time, he was too absorbed in the after-glow of the hearty debate the students had shared. He heard the part about the slides being emailed to the students, and was happy enough with having heard only that tidbit.
Adrian rose from his desk, putting his items into his messenger bag and slinging it over his shoulder, before giving one quick look back to Seran, and then making his way out of the class. That one, Adrian believed, was trouble. He held views on power quite similar to his own, which, as anyone would guess, made him a threat in Adrian's eyes.

Matrim took notes about having a test over material that would be presented later in the class. He needed to remind himself in a note to take clear and concise notes because while he had a very good photographic memory he also had a knack for forgetting school stuff on purpose. If it didn't interest him it usually meant that he would forcibly forget it. The good news was they would have a print out of the lecture, which was amazing.
"Well, thanks for not being an incredibly boring teacher," Matrim said while getting up and picking his bag up over his shoulder, he looked over at Sara and Emi to express a bit of 'bwuahaha'ness at the fact he could leave while they had to stay behind...
he emphasized this with a sticking out of the tongue before leaving the classroom.

It seemed there was more work ahead of them than previously thought.
Sure the boy knew that there was work, but amount always varied. This was a lot of information for their first class, and the worst part was that they were only doing quizzes. How much more work were they going to do before they actually had a test? And how much of the material were they going to cover all at once?
Trizen sighed a student's sigh. Now that the class was over, the boy would attempt to bury it in the back of his mind. Attempt being the key word. He did live in China for a while, though that was to train with the Monks. Come to think of it, there were a lot of things he learned by being in various places in the world. Why didn't see that before? His father made him learn certain martial arts as opposed to all sorts -- like his mother. But what was the reason for that?
Bah. It was banter now. Pointless banter. He needed to get out of that class before his head exploded. Getting up with a sort of new enthusiasm, Trizen Takano put his brown leather bag over his head, and let the strap rest on his right shoulder while the bag fell in command to gravity. Looking to the ones who were still in the class, the boy nodded in acknowledgment and quickly exited the room.

Emily sighed as the teacher finally dismissed the class. Now all Emily had to worry about was if she had to skip the rest of the day or just finish the rest of her classes to make her trip here a bit more worthwhile. She was just really fatigued, as she had never really worked like this before.
Maybe in due time she'd get used to working. After all, it's good experience, and she gets to be able to pay her bills on time. After scribbling down the teacher's email, she began packing her stuff and began to head out, slightly looking back as Sara and Emi were staying.
Well, she guessed Ryuu would have to go alone then?
Bowing at the teacher once, Emily would then head out of the class with Ryuu. Hmmm, they've been hanging out a bit too much now, have they? Too bad Emily's dense enough not to notice the implications of that right away.

Sara dropped her head onto the desk when the teacher dismissed everyone but her and the little Asian. This really sucked. Why the hell was she supposed to stay behind...? She hadn't done anything wrong... Had she? She tried to think back to what had taken place in the class, and found she could barely remember any of it. Had she fallen asleep? That might explain why she couldn't remember, but she didn't think she had. There was no way... She would know if she had.
She waited until the rest of the class had left and then lifted her head again, looking around. Then she stood, and grabbed her things and made her way slowly to a chair at the front of the class. She dropped into it and smiled nervously at the teacher. "Amazing class you know... I uhh... I learned a lot... Good teaching style." SUCK UP FTW <3

With everyone leaving, except Sara and Emi, Professor Doloyovich stood an closed the door. He moved to the front of the classroom and rested against a desk near the front.
"Both of you gave unsatisfactory answers to your beginning note cards. I am sorry to say but you will have to redo them.
Thank you.
Also, I advise that both of you increase your participation level in the coming days. Otherwise, you may find yourself... failing, my class."
