Nick had no idea how he had made it to the second round after a fight like that. And he was in one piece, too. It was time for round two and he was ready this time, no hesitation.
"For our next match! Please welcome to the ring.... Nicolas Constantine!"
Nick stepped out into the ring and the crowd roared. Apparently he was applauded for making it to the second round, he doubted they all knew who he was.
"And the opponent... Thirteen Silivasi!"[/i]
Nick's heart sank and skipped a beat at the same time as he stopped in his tracks. They didn't mean the tiny little blind girl, did they? Well, it wasn't every day that you met someone with that name, and Nick doubted it would be anyone else.
He sighed and stepped to the center of the arena.
"Aurora, am I really fighting you?" he'd ask whomever appeared before him, hoping he wouldn't really have to fight his friend.

Thirteen was getting tired of the fighting almost. She had hurt her last opponent seriously, and now, something was wrong. She was dreaming again, dreaming of her next fight. And what she saw was horrifying. He was the first person, the first friend that Thirteen had made. And now she was going to fight him.
Nicolas Constantine.
She hadn't even heard it, but she knew it, and hoped it wouldn't be true. But walking in, her own visions were confirmed...her dreams. They really sucked. Especially when they were correct like this. Sam was one thing, but this was the second round. It was likely that they would both be hurt rather severely.
With a slow walk in, more in depression over the situation than anything, she looked up into the vast black sea. She could hear Nick's voice closer than any cheer. It was him alright.
He was her opponent.
"Yes...yes, I'm afraid it is dear."
In all seriousness...she was terrified. Not for just her, but for the both of them. Nick must have felt much of what she did. They didn't want to fight here...not like this. This was for fame and money, and friends shouldn't be hurting each other for material gain.
Well, it was time. She'd fight, but probably not very well.
Emotions were running high. She felt sluggish, anchored down.
"I suppose we should get this over with..."

"Yeah, I'm sorry in advance."
Nick wouldn't wait for an answer, he would actually attack first this time. He ran at her, right fist bared, hoping he could take her out with one blow but still ready for a counter-attack if she could hear him coming.
He would strike at her stomach with a quick jab and if she didn't fight back he would finish his attack with a powerful hit with his left. Otherwise, if she fought back or dodged the attack, the jab would be quick enough for him to block or dodge her retaliation and look for a different opening.

Sorry?
That's it? Well...at least he had motivation. All the motivation that Thirteen had to do was defend. Nick rushed, and took a blow at her stomach. The problem was that the girl was built as a low-rider. The kinetic energy thrown was an easy dodge. She backed off, still trying to get her mind in gear. Both attacks had missed, but sadly, it probably wouldn't happen again. Nick was too fast, and she, too slow.
Shaking her head, she began to concentrate on the future, her eyes now brightly glowing orange. She could see herself losing, but hopefully putting up a decent defense...
Like right now. Right now...she had to find it within herself to even throw a punch at a friend, much less try to knock him out...

Nick figured she would dodge the first couple attacks. What he didn't see was that she didn't counterattack. The glowing orange eyes were a little freaky, but Nick knew that Thirteen was a girl of special sorts.
There were really only two things he could do. He could continue to jab and punch at her to see how long it would take for something to hit or for her to attack back, or he could grab her so she couldn't dodge anymore, but that would possibly give her the advantage of an attack.
Nick decided that it was too early in the match to give her any type of fighting advantage over him, and he continued to barrage her with tons of fast jabs and punches aimed at the upper body. This would also still give him the ability to dodge anything she threw his way, hopefully it wasn't anything too out of the ordinary for him to handle.

This was so not right, and still she couldn't find it in her heart to fight the boy who'd she'd met the first day at 42. It didn't feel right, and still Aurora maintained her defensive stance. You'd think that maybe she'd fight back or something, or was it all part of her big scheme? Feh. Not in the slightest. She has emotions though, and sometimes, they got the better of her.
Like right now.
Her prediction had made her slower, and she was getting hit for it, blocking as best as she could. To not so much avail.
But now what? Just remain on the defensive?
Pretty much...

With every punch, he was mentally apologizing to Aurora. If she were able to look into his eyes, she would be able to see a look of anguish, even though he was fighting with normal force. He disliked himself for it, but he wouldn't give up or falter. Right now she was his opponent and Nick would probably apologize profusely after the fight, hoping he wouldn't hurt her terribly. Yet he still didn't lessen his attacks.
"Aurora, brace yourself!" he yelled at her.
The warning had slipped from his mouth as he rushed within inches of her. He would pick her up by the midriff, her being light as a feather to him, and he would attempt to chuck her as far as he could. Hopefully she didn't have any tricks or magic up her sleeve...

Too slow Nicolas.
Thirteen's Qi went full bore active, and before he could even get a hand on her, she jumped and practically vaulted, planting her hands on his shoulders at the apex of the jump and landing behind him. Wow. That was certainly a new trick she had, and she even had surprised herself a little bit. The short story was, she had learned to predict moves in advance of the person even thinking them up.
"If you want to fight, then a fight you will get."
Her heart still wasn't there, but now, she readied herself against attack, finally starting to recover from previous blows. She was probably still going to lose. But now...but now maybe she could start to feel a little flow in things, and fight back.
Even just a little bit.

What just happened? Wasn't this girl supposed to be blind? Nick was shocked after she jumped and propelled herself into a sort of flip to land behind him. He spun around, ready for if she tried to attack him while she was behind him, but she didn't.
"If you want to fight, then a fight you will get."[/i]
Nick smirked at the statement.
"Bring it on, little lady."
He slid forward to kick her legs out from under her. If he was able to knock her down or make her loose her balance, he would pounce on her, straddling her, and start pummeling her in the stomach.

Epic maneuvers were epic.
Finally this fight had become clearer for her, maybe now she could throw up a fight. Oh to hell with emotions. Nick was going to get the crap beat out of him...well, as best as she could pull off with the short stature and lack of weight. Psh. She was going to get hurt. Guess she couldn't change fate now. But she might want to pull some epic out before it happened.
So finally, she put that brain and speed to work.
When Nicolas got low, Aurora got aerial.
Spreading her arms, just in case he somehow countered, Aurora switched but a foot to her right and launched herself, just as Nicolas started to slide under. With the jump came an attack, a launching kick from her left leg, aimed directly at his throat, chin and facial structure. Because Nick was still mid-attack, reacting to it, and defying physics by stopping would be nigh impossible. If he tried to counter, there would ample time to deflect it away.
Also, even if Nick managed to move his head, moving it far enough would result in one hell of a neck cramp, likely causing bone or nerve damage either way.
((OOC: Aurora has 25 wisdom for this fight.))

Nick smirked as she jumped into the air, trying to land on his throat.
That was cute.
He would grab the aerial foot as she was coming down to crush his windpipe with her foot with both hands clasping on the ankle, throwing her backwards over his head, which was down from him still being in the position he was in for trying to leg swipe her.
He would get up if she wasn't able to do anything, as with a wood floor, he wouldn't be able to slide as much as on the dirt. He would then turn and face her, and await another move from her this time.

For a musician, he was awfully predictable.
He'd taken the easy route out, grab the lightweight girl, throw her down. Yep, that was the standard course of action. However, standard, or par wasn't going to win this fight. Intelligence was. He was a little stronger and faster, but he was relying on the obvious...no creativity. Aurora however, was deviating in her style in almost every way.
Physics was working against Nick.
If he was throwing her face down, that meant that she was being thrown behind. Nick's speed was working against him, nullifying the inertia that would be gained by such a throw. Needless to say, even on wood, landing down even on three limbs was like landing on a pillow.
It looked like he let go, and before he could react, Aurora was on solid ground, due to the little momentum she had, letting her spring her light body into quick reaction on the turnaround, this time remaining on solid ground, going for a swift slug to his juggular, launched from her left hand, defending with her right.
This would place her behind Nick's left side, leaving him only one arm to defend. Aurora had two, and was ready for a defensive counter from a kick or punch should he get up.

The smirk on his face dropped to a frown. She was being a tricky little girl, and Nick wasn't in the position to be having a good laugh at her tricks.
Her left hand came at the side of his throat, which was off limits with this much room to maneuver. Nick finally activated his Qi, dodging the blow at a lightning speed, his upper body would bend backwards enough to not get hit in the jugular. While he was dodging the blow, his left fist would jerk out towards the open area of her stomach, now that he was bent backwards a little. Nick's left arm was his power arm.
Nick's feet were still firmly on the ground, even though they were facing at a strange angle, allowing him to keep his balance in case of a counterattack.

Jeebus. He was getting faster.
That was fancy, almost an unnatural energy surge. It could have been Qi, or it could be that his early morning caffeinated drink was kicking in to the maximum. Either way, he was now relying on sheer speed to get himself out of scrapes, which was perfectly fine. If he had the resources to do it, then hey, all the more power to him, but sadly, it still wasn't enough, and Thirteen was still thinking ahead.
That counter blow that Nick threw?
It hit.
Her palm.
Which actually meant that it did some damage, and with Nick being much stronger than Sam had been, this blow was surely going to leave a bruise, and probably would be checked by a doctor. But now came the fun. With Nick bent back at such an angle, He was once again presenting an opening, one that even she had thought on the spot.
She held that punch of his, and pulled back her attack hand, also latching on to that arm, and with a dexteous leap, she worked her right leg using Nicolas weight against him, pulling down, launching herself up to repeatedly kick at his low neck, targeting nerves and the general area. It could, if effective, damage him immensely.
Or send him into cardiac arrest...
If he fell, all the better.
If he didn't, either way, his right arm wasn't going to do much but bridge a kinetic link with her body that she could then use to knee at his spine and head. Muay Thai was a bitch.
There wasn't any getting away from her by dodging this time either, by punching her, it was already too late.
