Not gonna wait any further. :P Anyone can post whenever they want to, no post order anyways.
There was a sudden rap at the door as soon as Ryuu stopped talking. It was a nurse. "Oh, so many people." The woman looked at the doctor on the patient's bedside. Layla was off duty, or at least she already made that arrangement weeks prior. "You don't mind me giving Ms. Delos Santos her meds don't you, Dr. Clavering?"
Layla paused for a bit, as she looked at the nurse rather carefully. If the students looked at Layla, they would find her looking pale all of the sudden.
It was Sin.
She had come for them. Of course, she was wearing a really intricate disguise - what, a prosthetic face, the hospital's official nurse uniform, and a change of voice. Heh, no one could really tell it was her. Then again, have these children seen her before? Nope.
But she knew that these teenagers would just cause a ruckus, not only worsening Emily's condition - but also causing problems for the patients on the other rooms of the floor. Layla's mind was conflicting, but she just smiled and said a simple. "Be my guest."
The nurse smiled and just took out a syringe with an oil-like fluid inside. It shimmered black, like crude oil. Layla cringed as the woman began giving Emily an IV push.
There were so many mistakes.
No aseptic technique.
Too many unnecessary movements, one would wonder why she passed medschool.
"Finished?"
The nurse nodded. "I'll be on my merry way, thanks for your time!"
It was a bit of silence later when the nurse finally left. Layla slumped on her chair and pressed a button by the bedside. It was a code blue. "Emily will be flatlining in a few minutes." She said, almost calmly. "The assassin is making her get away via helicopter. If you hurry, you will be able to catch her."
Layla smiled.
"All of you, please." She said, standing up just as soon as Emily opened her eyes and began undergoing a violent rage of convulsions. Her body was twitching and flailing about so violently it was hard to look at, even for Layla - whom had seen this happen many, many times. "... Emily will be alright. I promise. Leave, catch her for me."
----------
"Gahahaha!" Sin laughed, ripping off her nurse cap from her head. "They fell for it! Man, this prosthetic face is itchy. OUT OF MY FUCKING WAY!"
Yes, she was shoving doctors and patients alike out of her way, basically taking the only elevator hostage as she pointed a gun at the staff inside and forced them out, using it as her shortcut to the 15th floor.
What's bad enough, was that they were 8 floors down!
Could they reach there in time?!

Gabriel had been the quietest of the group merely watching as the many associated with Emily made their entrances. He followed each with a concerned look taking in their personas. The very masks they wore made him shudder. He knew there were a few for Emily specifically but then again their were others out for their own personnal gain. He didn't have the evidence but he was suspicious of those few.
A nurse entered to give EMily her medicine and moved on before anyone had the chance to stop her. The silence following could only be described as awkward as though exeryone around seemed to be silent.
"Emily will be flatlining in a few minutes." Dr. Clavering said, almost calmly. "The assassin is making her get away via helicopter. If you hurry, you will be able to catch her."
Gabriel flinched fear in his eyes suddenly. It didn't take him a second to react he was first out of the door and if anyone got in his way he'd trample them. Charge his Qi and blow straight through them. He throttled on the run around the corner his breathing in furious lapses not in exhaustion but in anguish. Basterd walked right in front of us and she didn't even stop her. Gabriel was furious when he was done here he'd be paying the good doctor a visit.
He came by the fallen bodies of several doctors as the trail hit the elevator. The bitch was heading up. Only one way now! He took the stairs hurtling them with ease two sometimes three or four at a time. Panting heavily as he'd ascend he'd bring this woman to justice and kill her.

Ryuu, as soon as a nurse came into the room to give Emily her medicine, was observing not the nurse, but Dr. Clavering. She had turned pale all of a sudden, which made Ryuu slightly suspicious of the nurse. She hadn't looked like this during the entire time... only when the nurse had come in. Ryuu looked at the nurse, but kept an eye on Dr. Clavering, noticing her cringe when the nurse pulled out a syringe with an oil-like fluid inside that shimmered black, almost like crude oil, as the nurse injected it into Emily, and moved on before anyone could even ask. Ryuu swore he nearly had a heart attack when Dr. Clavering told them what was going to happen to Emily after the long period of silence beforehand. Gabriel had reacted immediately and blew out the door first, as Ryuu began shaking slightly the minute Emily's eyes snapped open and began to convulse violently.
His eyes hidden by his front hair, Ryuu lifted his head up, revealing his eyes, which were burning with fiery determination. "Dr. Clavering," Ryuu said calmly in a soft voice, as he placed one hand on her shoulder, "I leave Emily in your capable hands. Take care of her, please." His voice had a pleading tone to it, he was almost begging her, as he lifted his hand off and whipped around before running out the door at full speed, sliding slightly into the hallway, before barreling down the hallway at full speed, more than likely knocking over and trampling anyone who happened to be in his way. Gabriel had a bit of lead on him, and the nurse an even bigger lead on them both. He understood why Dr. Clavering let the culprit go, because if she had stopped the nurse, all of those that were in Emily's room, would cause an uproar, which would worsen Emily's condition, as well as cause problems for the other patients on the same floor.
He ran past flat-lined doctors and patients, a trail of bodies leading up to the elevator just as the door closed. Wasting no time, Ryuu jammed the up button, as he took in deep breathes, to calm himself down. Although taking the stairs would be the most immediate reaction, it was also the worst, because not only would you be exerting force by running up flights of stairs, by the time you caught up to the target, you'd probably be tired, and possibly out of breath, unable to fight back for a brief moment, which would be absolutely useless. Ryuu's eyes darted to the top of the elevator Sin had taken, showing what floor she was heading to. The 15th floor. Got it. The other elevator, the one Ryuu was waiting for, was at the 3rd floor, but was quickly ascending. A few seconds later, it reached the 7th floor, as the doors opened, and Ryuu flew in, quickly jabbing the button for the 15th floor.
The elevator began to ascend, as Ryuu took this chance to focus and calm himself down. Anger would only get in the way, he needed to be calm, in order to fight to his full potential. He closed his eyes, regulating his breathes, to let his heart rate return back to normal. The minute he reached the 15th floor, he would fly out the door, and chase after the nurse, determined to give her, her just desserts...

Trizen was surprised at how calm Doctor Clavering seemed to be. She knew much more than she let on, and thankfully he was right about it -- as much as it was painfully obvious. The information she held would be of use, but when would she tell them?
Oh! She took off her wig? But she did that only every now and again... did this mean she was going to come clean? Maybe. Doctor Clavering began to explain the making of the bullet. What it did and the whole bit. Certainly wasn't very flattering considering Emily was shot three times by this kind of bullet. How long was Emily hiding this pain for? No one really seemed to notice and Emily was not the kind of girl to show when she was in pain. Though what Layla said next would hurt him. It was hurt him deep.
"You two do remember the day Emily lost the title of School Captain, right? I had been ordered to test it out on a student on 259, and it so happened that I found her a viable target. As soon as it was declared effective, I resigned from said organization and left for San Francisco. Three doses at a span of less than a year is really lethal, I am afraid."
Trizen's eyes shot open. SHE shot her? Layla Clavering SHOT Emily? For what? No. There had to be something more than simply because she was asked. This organization, the one she didn't name, had her being curious or intrigued enough to work for them. He was not about to accept it was for the sake of science or helping people. When it involves hurting other people the way that happened, Trizen knew it had to involve a whirlpool of histories: People, places and problems. Where would they start? Well, they knew firstly that the organization was not based in L.A.
'By the way she said San Francisco, it sounded like she travelled off to another state or even country...' the boy thought to himself before a nurse walked into the room.
Layla looked kind of weird. Like she saw a ghost. He turned around only to see the nurse. She was going to give Emily some treatments.
'Be my guest?'
That was her response to this? Why was she being so frank?
'No... I should stop being so paranoid. Being this suspicious about everyone and everything would only make me think the assassin is in this very room.'
The nurse had finished putting the substance into Emily's body and walked away... cheerful... Trizen was truly puzzled now. Everyone that had no real bearing about any of this was just acting plain strange. Like Layla. She was reaching over to the side of Emily bed. What was she--
'Code blue?' Trizen knew what this meant. Layla had explained it a few times before and he even saw it a few times on making his visits and volunteer time here at the hospital -- mainly to get closer to Emily.
"The assassin is making her get away via helicopter. If you hurry, you will be able to catch her."
"WHAT?!" Trizen kicked himself. He should have trusted his instincts.
Emily opened her eyes and began undergoing a violent rage of convulsions. Her body was twitching and flailing about so violently it was hard to look at, even for Layla - whom had seen this happen many, many times. "... Emily will be alright. I promise. Leave, catch her for me."
Gabriel and Ryuu were the first to leave the room. As much as Trizen wanted to go, he did not want to leave Emily and Layla out of sight yet. She woman was too calm. There was this main factor that played in young man's mind: Layla wouldn't say everything. If that was the case, then she knew this organization was very close to her. She didn't have long to live.
"I'm staying here," Trizen said on looking at the others who were still in the room, "They're trying to get to you, we can't let that happen. You have information that could help us tackle this problem. So for now, I'll stay incase they have any other tricks up their sleeve."
That was that. Ryuu and Gabe were going up to catch the villain in their own way. Trizen just wished he did what he thought to do: watch the woman's foot size. He did have her boot afterall.

And there the woman stood by the helipad, holding the rope ladder as the the helicopter roared overhead. She wasn't just about to show her face yet - maybe sometime, when she had basically just about done her revenge. In her hand right now, was a black scarf that she took from her pockets. She wasn't going to make any chances now, it was she escaped now or basically ruin everything she had worked hard for - besides, that medicine she put in that girl was special.
Very special.
And soon, the doctor would find herself having the very same problem, as the real fight was actually to be where Trizen was. Yes. Everything was planned, calculated, rehearsed and polished in this woman's mind. She knew full well that these children would rush to her, in the attempt to capture her - full knowing that she had every single technology available to her at her reach. Like per se, this helicopter.
This quest wasn't for fights after all.
As soon as the first student - Ryuu, had come to sight, the woman would smirk under her facial covering. "Too late, kid." She said, "You shouldn't have come here. You trust the word of Doctor Clavering too much."
As she said that, her feet were already leaving the ground. Of course, they can try to yank her off.
"As we speak, my minions are crashing right through the window of your beloved classmate, and she will be gone along with that blasted doctor of yours."
And that was what was happening. That moment, Several thugs would crash in via jetpack by the window panels of Emily's room, surprising Layla. Layla hadn't expected something like this, not at all.
"We've come for you, doctor."
One of the larger thugs would then aim a punch right for Trizen's head. A rather brutal and straightforward move. They were ordinary thugs, of average abilities.
"Oh, are you." Layla said, injecting a dose of medicine into Emily intravenously. Careful, but in a rush, as she threw the used syringe away to who knows where. This was no time for aseptic technique. This was an emergency.
Layla full knew that she was not powerful by any means. She was, still, and forevermore, in spite of her quick recovery from partial paralysis - still weak.
Those days of her as a pillar didn't matter - her body wouldn't be able to keep up; it was noticeable seen through her slow and albeit, predictable, movements. Even as she used her elbow to thrust her body weight onto the thug's xyphoid process to choke the air (and therefore, stamina) out of him, it was of no use. She was just too weak. The was no strength. No speed. No endurance.
The thug just threw a punch at the doctor's face soon after, sending her down onto the floor. Layla was far from over though, as she attempted to sit up again to continue the attempt of protecting her student, only to have her head slammed to the floor harshly causing her to scream in agony. Unless Trizen did something, he could do nothing but watch as the thug would take a syringe out of his pockets and inject the same medication through Layla's hip - intramuscularly.
"A-aaargh!"
So back upstairs, Sin was laughing. "Your choice. Run down and try to stop them which is probably more likely, since they have little chances of escape, or try your hand at me, while I'm merely just one hand movement away from being pulled off. Unmasking me or saving someone important - which one weighs more, I wonder?"
It was all just a brilliant mind game.
To see who plays the pawn and who plays the rest of the pieces.
So far, Trizen was the one who had seen this coming - but unfortunately, the rest of his comrades left him be.
Was this a vital error on their end?

To David, everything seemed to unfold slowly, like life was the matrix and he was superhuman. It was all out of his reach, however, or felt like it. The students ran, and ran hard, but David stayed, staring at Emily and Layla. He was so confused- Layla, he had known, was always a very secretive figure in life, or at least in his. He trusted her, though, and always thought her to be a good person. This entire incident caused the world to tip upside down though, and he didnt like that at all. Emily may die, Layla shot her earlier, and an assassin was getting away. What was the point of it all? Just some ten year old battle between one individual woman and some organization? He reached up, slowly running his fingers through his hair as he took a slow, deep breath.
"I....I guess i should try and help them."
He turned and, rather then run, slowly walked from the room. If those three had caught up with the woman, they would be holding her off long enough for him to get there. If they didnt make it, then his running wouldn't help anyway. He was two rooms down as, rather suddenly, a shuddering and crash of windows rocked the building. Davids body whipped around, his eyes going wide as he realized where it came from.
'EMILY!'
He bolted back to the room, only to see that, even if he got involved, there would be too many.
Still, he could try and hold them off long enough for the others to arrive.
He would do it.
As the man pulled out a shringe, a five pound bottle of hand soap-(hey, he had nothing else close at hand...)- Would crash into his head from the side as David hurled it. He shot forward, jumping and aiming a hard Scissors kick to the chest and hopefully sending him clear back out the window. He stood before Layla, striking a stance and glaring at the other men. His body was poised, curled to strike like a snake waiting for any fools dumb enough to get close. His right fist would be down near hip level, about a foot and a half outward away from his body. His left hand was up near his chin, and his right side face toward his enemies. He breathed smoothely, gaurding over the body of Miss Clavering and Emily.
"Nothing like a pocketful of money to help you kill a defenseless woman and child, right fellas?"
He cracked his neck.
"Unfortunately, i don't need money to kill any one of you."
And he would too.
If they didn't leave, David would kill each and every one of them.
He had done it before.
He would do it again.
That is, if he could last that long.
'Hurry up fellas....'

Suddenly the windows broke open. Glass shattered on the ground.
They were here as Trizen anticipated.
"We've come for you, Doctor."
Layla answered the exact phrase the boy was going to use. The young one put on his famous grin as he saw the thugs, the first throwing a strong right fist to his face. Not working. Easing to his right, Trizen shot his right palm into the thug's face and gripped it with his fingers. With his free hand, gathering energy in momentum, the launched to layer onto of his right palm sending the blast of strength facefirst. The average fighting thug was sent flying out the window at brash and rapid speeds.
'!!!'
The thug just threw a punch at the doctor's face soon after, sending her down onto the floor.
"LAYLA!"
David Blaze snapped out of it and managed to take care of the thug that was about to stick a needle into the doctor. Though his anger was getting the best of him. It looked as though he was ready to kill.
"David..." the young boy said in a subtle tone. He watched the thugs that were coming through the window. He needed to have a plan. Emily and Layla were in close proximity to the window and if they went outside, it would have been a broader and much more open for thugs to take them out. Not to mention it would have been harder to keep track of Emily's health.
Looking back to the thugs, Trizen Takano took his stance and kept his feelings in the check. They were going to distract his senses in he let them. He needed to know what was going on around them.
"If you're protecting the pair of them, I'll cover you three." He told Blaze. "People might be coming through the front door and this place isn't giving us much room to fight -- particularly if they have weapons like knives, needles or guns. Please get them as far away from the window as possible. If you're leaving the room with them, I'll cover front so long as you got their back. Your call, David." As Trizen finished his word, a thug stepped in, though the boy quickly threw down a fist and knocking him back into the other thugs that were coming.
"Suuuure, take your time with your decision." the boy said on smirking in sarcasm.

Ryuu's expression hardened, cold fury on his face, as he heard the nurse speak, telling him what was happening in Emily's room. He stayed routed on the spot as the nurse began to laugh, giving Ryuu two choices, two choices that both had their pros and cons. "The choice is clear..." Ryuu muttered softly, his eyes hidden by his hair, as he clapped his hands together, "Unmasking you!" He then ran straight at Sin, his left arm outstretched as he pushed himself forward, he was determined to reach Sin. He knew David and Trizen were more than capable of defending Emily and Dr. Clavering from Sin's minions, they were both tough. Reaching the ladder, Ryuu would attempt to grab onto Sin's ankle, before engulfing his left hand in flames, attempting to burn her. He would then yank on her ankle, attempting to pull her off the rope ladder.
He loved Emily, and would do anything for her, he would even give up his own life to save hers. But he also wanted to get revenge, to make Sin pay for what she did to Emily. Blaze... Trizen... You guys better not lose to a bunch of dimwitted thugs. If you do, I'll never forgive both of you. If he managed to yank Sin down, his right hand would then shot out, aiming to unmask her. "Dr. Clavering trusted us... all of us. She knew the risk of letting us know about her, maybe not everything, but enough to give us an idea. I trust her... and I won't let you or that organization take Emily or her away!" Ryuu would then curl his flame-covered hand up as it shot at Sin's face, aiming to punch and burn the facial covering off her face, all at the same time. At the same time, his left hand, which had been holding onto her ankle, released his grip if she came down, and would aim a left hook right into her stomach. Trizen and David weren't the only ones fighting right now...

Seven had been in the hospital to sign papers for a monetary donation. She was really only giving the hospital a bit of her allowance, but she realized that one hundred thousand dollars was still helpful. They might be able to save up money for one of the larger and more expensive pieces of equipment. Her bodyguards - she had five of them today - were nearby. Two of whom blended into the crowd as a doctor and a patient, and three of whom were with her.
But then, as she was walking down one of the hallways - the typical tour given to important guests -, she heard the sound of breaking glass. She wasn't the only one, and Hiroshi, one of the three guards that was near her, went to go check it out.
The door was slightly opened, and he went to look in. He backed away quickly, drawing his gun and taking the safety off.
"There's a fight. Buncha guys in uniform against a couple of teens. Males, and likely in high school. Some lady's in there, too." he affirmed.
Seven sighed, taking her naginata from another guard. "Stand back and shoot only if I'm in trouble. I don't want guns going off in a high school. Only one of you has a silencer, and that's Matthew, and he's on sniper duty."
She nodded to the doctor who had been giving the tour. "Take one of my bodyguards and go to contact the police. It is imperative. Ensure that you contact the front desk and hospital security as well. There's a patient in there who is probably under attack."
And with that, she entered the room, just in time to see one of the boys that Hiroshi had mentioned knock an attacker into the others.
"Suuuure, take your time with your decision." he drawled out to the teen behind him. With the one behind him was the woman.
Seven blinked. The patient was still out.
"Hiroshi, why don't you and the others get this... person with a long unpronounceable name.... out of here?" she suggested, knowing they would move to do as she'd said.
Then, she turned her attention to the others.
"Hello," she said pleasantly. "I hope you don't mind if I join the fight."
She gave her naginata an experimental turn in her hands - it was a useless motion, but a show of her experience.
"You look like you could usei t."

OOC((Good lord. Sorry this took me so long. I totally forgot!))
David didnt really acknowledge Trizen when he came to help, though his ears perked when the boy began to talk. David punched a man in the face after taking a headbutt to the cheek, listening to what Trizen said. He would take him up on that offer, if only for a moment. He turned, grabbing hold of Miss Clavering and picking her up deftly. He laid the body on Emilys bed, situating her so that he head was near Emilys feet. Then he would turn and take Trizen by the shoulders, pulling him back while the men plowing through the windows regrouped.
"Trizen, take them. Go with this girl- but dont let her gaurds touch them. You can't trust anyone- not yet at least." He shifted Trizens body so he could kick a guy who was rushing them, sending the man flailing backwards for a moment. "I'm not asking- this is an order. Go."
Then, David would push Trizen toward the bed and turn to face the men. He guessed that they were all there, about twenty of them, crowding around the window and staring at him with hungering eyes. No more came in through the window, and there were far too many for him to handle alone and in such a small space. David would wait until Trizen and everyone was out of the room before kicking the door shut, placing himself in front of it. He cracked his neck, then his knuckles, and fanned out his hands to each side, bending his legs at the knees slightly to give himself a solid center. He took a deep breath. This would not end well for him- but maybe, just maybe, he could buy his friends the time they needed to escape. Luckily for him, the doorway had a small hallway before you got to it, about four feet long, so at least he wouldnt get bumrushed from all sides.
'How do i get myself in these positions?'
That was the last thing he thought as the men attacked, David beginning his defensive restraint.
OOC((A shitty post, but it works ^_^))

This is the final post for this side thread. The next post for this quest will be the final one. My apologies to those who have waited for a long time for this Quest to end.
And thus, resistance was shown as David threw the bottle of soap. The Thug immediately flinched, and missed his target as the sting of his wrist struck his threshold. They weren't that trained in resisting pain, maybe? Then the ex-pillar threw him out the window with a scissor kick.
"Nothing like a pocketful of money to help you kill a defenseless woman and child, right fellas? Unfortunately, i don't need money to kill any one of you."
Layla looked up at her student with much gratitude. Who knew what would've happened perchance that this serum was given to her intramuscularly? "That guilt trip is useless, Mister Blaze." She whispered as she pulled herself up. "These men are under their influence. They're not themselves, and if they were - their reasons lie far more than financial gain, I promise you."
Trizen had already sent the last thug out the window a few moments previous, but there were definitely a few more coming, as founds of more thugs in extraordinary jet packs headed towards their window again. It was only just a matter of time before more thugs would come.
And the doctor was frantically trying to get up as the two teenagers were devising their plans to absolutely no avail. Her legs were, as always - frail. The exertion of the previous kick pulled a few muscles a bit too hard, and therefore...
She was as limp, as she had always been, but you see...
Emily was still crashing. Her young body was twisting like mad as the monitor that was keeping track of her vital signs suddenly stopped with a terrifying beep.
She flat-lined.
No. She was not dead. She couldn't be. Layla grew desperate and groaned in pain. "NO!" She would scream, grabbing the bed by the side-rails.
"Dammit." The woman declared just as another teenager came inside. "It's... too late. There's nothing more to protect. Let's run. We have to." Then, as a woman let herself fall into a heap on the floor, the monitor began to beep once, then twice...
...
Emily's eyes opened slowly as she slowly rose from her bed. The girl would pull off the paraphernalia that were attached to her body, albeit leaving her hand bleeding from it's vein. "Run away!" Layla would declare, pulling David by the leg. "We have to ru--!"
Then something would fly into the room. A small smoke grenade. Bursts of smoke would spread all throughout the already cramped room. Footsteps would be heard breaking gas, and Layla would be heard yelping once.
The window was wide open, so the smoke more or less dissipated quite easily - revealing the patient, holding the blonde doctor over her shoulder. Her eyes were staring forward, and her skin pale with the loss of blood. Her hand was bleeding profusely from her violent removal of her IV needle, and her feet bleeding from stepping on glass. She didn't even flinch.
Should the three even try to come close, Emily would snip off a large piece of glass from the window frame and point it onto her neck.
And more cracks would glass as Emily would step backward further until she and the doctor were hit on the back of the head and taken up via three thugs on jetpack towards the helicopter that was flying just a few floors up from where they were.
How about Ryuu and that other guy?
The youth's hands brought forth fire, and attempted to grab onto Sin's ankle. There, she would swing herself to the right to avoid that young boy from reaching her. Sin began to become out of the young man's reach as the helicopter's crew began to pull the woman up. "Poor kid. Why don't you look over there?" Sin said, pointing towards the Jetpack crew with Emily and Layla, unconscious. The three were, obviously taking the two women up to the helicopter.
"Say goodbye, kid. Because this will be the last time you will see the two of them."
And that would be the last thing Ryuu would be able to hear from the woman, as she and the captives were pulled up and the helicopter flew away.
Far away.
These children did not know, that there would come a time, that they will be able to make up for this lost opportunity.

Ryuu's flame-engulfed hand flew closer and closer to Sin's ankle, his face furrowed in determination, as he stretched his arm out, reaching out to grab her ankle and... he held onto nothing but empty air, as he saw Sin swing to the right, avoiding his grip, as he darted past her, stopping just before the edge, as he whipped around to face her, only to see her rise out of his grasp as the helicopter pulled her higher and higher up. His eyes narrowed in fury as the chance to get Sin literally slipped through his fingers, only to change into confusion, as his gaze followed the direction she was pointing in. His eyes flashed in shock as he saw a group of men with jet packs fly towards the helicopter with... "EMILY!" Ryuu shouted out, as he ran towards her, but it was in vain, they were too high for him to reach. He saw momentarily that Dr. Clavering was unconscious as his head whipped back to face Sin, his expression changing back into one of fury, as the helicopter flew away.
Ryuu's fists clenched up, as he began to shake not in fear, but with fury that could no longer restrained. "... EMILY!!!!!" Ryuu cried out angrily, as he fell on his knees, and slammed his fist down on the ground, leaving a scorch mark from his fist on the concrete, as he slammed his fist down over and over again. "Dr. Clavering... I promised I'd have your back... But I failed to keep that..." Ryuu muttered, as his hair flew down, covering his eyes from view. "DAMN IT!!!!" He shouted angrily, as he slammed his hand down once more. "DAMN IT! THIS ISN'T OVER, YOU HEAR ME!? I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS, NO MATTER WHAT!" Ryuu shouted, as he breathed heavily, his fist shaking from fury as he held it down against the ground. If it was the last thing he did, he was going to make those who took Emily AND Dr. Clavering pay dearly for what they did. "That's a promise..."

As smoke popped through the window, David darted into action. He ripped off part of his shirt, covering his mouth. He turned to locate the teacher- but she was nowhere to be seen. Kinda hard to tell who was who in the dark, and before he knew it, the once dead emily (He almost had a heart attack when she flatlined) was holding the teacher over her shoulder. He moved toward her to grab her, but the girl head glass to her neck, and David was forced to stop.
"EMILY! Think about what your doing! this isnt you! Resist whatever it is! Resist!"
Too late.
Her head was slammed forward as something hit it, and the disappeared via jetpack. He ran forward, snatching the tip of emilys fingers. The pull strength and the amount of time he had to squeeze were too far off, and before he could really get hold, she was carried away, David Falling to his knees. He looked up, staring after them. He looked over at Trizen, fury in his eyes.
"Get me a phone. I have calls to make."
Once he did so or if he refused and he had to find one himself, David would make a call, walking out the hospital door with a torn shirt, heading for the lower levels and to his car.
"Hello, Receptionist? Get me Bill Crager. I'm coming back to work."

Trizen was slightly worried about a lot of everything. He knew it was a bad thing. As his old master would have said while he was in China, the boy had "too many mind."
Taking the regular and seemingly easy approach to calming his mind, the boy decided to take a deep breath. However, unknown to him, that was probably the worst time to do so. Trizen's ear caught the flatline tone, which made him skip a beat. In the meanwhile, on hearing something small and fast penetrate the current atmosphere, the flinch soon turned shocked stall allowed for the said item to hit him square in the middle of his forehead. Gas exploded from the small item as it connected with Trizen's forehead and in that while the boy was choking. What's worse is that the young lad hardly caught when Emily had done her deed and the good Doctor was gone. Everything had happened within that instant.
He kept his stand and saw David run past him. Despite everything, they failed. They all failed. Trizen blamed himself, though in the heat of the moment found a small crack of humour as he knew he would have a fight with Ryuu on his hands. He couldn't smirk, his body wouldn't allow it, but he knew he had to allow for some humour. It was his way of dealing with things. Besides, thugs were sloppy. They'd get Emily and the Doctor back. He had no doubt.
Blaze looked back at him and the others. With the threat now gone, the adrenaline pumping through his body would allow for the pain of injuries to rush back.
'Oh good... here we go...' The boy slowly dropped down to sit on his bottom and yawned.
"Alright team! Looks like we showed them, eh?" His sarcasm couldn't be any thicker. Little did he know it would become more of his personality as he grew into the man known worldwide as Maestro Takano.
