Well well, seems we have a girls versus guys fight here folks! This one is gonna be a doosy! You are led into a large room of an underground lab, and the huge, dome shaped room is different in one big factor- the area your fighting in is a fifty foot circle suspended over sub-freezing, electrically charged water. If you fall....you lose, and you lose painfully. Since twenty feet is quite a bit of room to fight in, we've built this mechanical wonder to split every so often- so during your fight youll find that at random point the circle is getting smaller! Good luck fighters, and remember to watch your step!
You ready? Im ready.
FIGHT!
((Every five posts- five for ryuu and five for bastille- the large circle they stand on grows smaller, losing five feet off the outter edge. Keep trach with a number in your posts!))

Ryuu stepped into the large dome-shaped room, his jet black eyes calm as can be. He had won the first round of his fight, and had advanced to the second round. After winning, he had been led down into a underground lab, which was the stage for his second fight. As soon as he stepped into the large arena, the area looked like a typical room for an underground lab, except for one single catch: The area was a fifty foot circle suspended over water. Ryuu looked down below him as he walked towards the center, and had no doubt the water below was sub-zero. Because honestly, what idiot would suspend the platform over warm water? As Ryuu made his way to the center, his left foot accidentally kicked a lose piece of metal that was on the platform, sending it flying over the edge of the platform, and landing in the water below, causing a surge of electricity to emit from the water. Ryuu raised an eyebrow at this, sub-zero, and electrically charged? Well, now that was just cruel.
Reaching the center of the platform, Ryuu pulled off his North Face Jacket, and tossed it to the guy who had led him here, who caught it with a puzzled look on his face. "Hold onto it for me." Ryuu said simply, he was now left in a black tank top, black track pants, and black boots. Once Ryuu was ready, he scanned around the platform, searching out for his opponent, until his gaze fell on the girl who was his opponent. She was a girl that Ryuu hadn't seen before, and he wasn't in the mood to be chatting right now, or making friends, he was here to fight, and win, and advance to the last round. On one hand, not knowing the girl meant Ryuu knew nothing about her or how she fought, but the same went for his opponent, she didn't know how Ryuu fought either. They were evenly matched regarding fighting knowledge. "You ready?" He asked simply, as he got into his stance, his feet shoulder-width apart, he brought his hands up, he had fingerless gloves on, watching his opponent, waiting, before launching the first move, running at his opponent, his boots clanging against the platform.
Once he reached her, he reared his left fist back, and fired a rapid jab at his opponent, aiming for her stomach, but at the last minute, turned the direction of his arm, it was now a uppercut, aiming for the girl's chin. While the girl was distracted with the uppercut, Ryuu would fire a rapid right underhand hook at her stomach, to try and send her backwards. Let's see just how many strikes she could focus on, when the threat of being electrocuted if you fell into the water was eminent, especially since the platform would get smaller at some point, though Ryuu did not know this convenient little fact, and more than likely, neither would Bastille.

The top to her compact mirror clicked closed and she rolled the tube of lipstick with her thumb thus making the red matter vanish. She turned towards her opponent. He had taken his sweet time showing up. ((00c: lol and im the one that’s late…XD sorry)) Clad in a rather odd getup, she looked something of a mix between a French courtesan and a 1940’s pinup lass. Her hair was however plain and simply pulled back into a pony tail. Her blond bangs hung over her face only slightly but her silver hair in the back was short and barely even fitting into its restraint.
She threw both of the make up devices down below into the water hearing the small splash softly. She had closed her eyes to listen to it, even placing her hand behind her ear standing up right and in a neutral position other wise. That was why she was clearly able to hear his impending foot steps and as he came up she bent down into a low duck to miss his punch. As he aimed up she went to swipe at his feet only to be halted by his neck punch aiming low. She would grab his fist to take away some of the blow from her and then use it to slide her hands flash like down his wrists and swing him around her if she could, trying to get him over the edge into the water. Either way she would let go and use his head if he hadn’t gone with the swing, or if he had, the ground, and back tuck up into the air and flip onto the ground where he had previously been standing. One thing about her style…its was extremely versatile, thanks to a certain Mathew Amtrum.

Ryuu kept the calm expression on his face as he finally got a good look at his opponent. Her outfit seemed rather odd for a tournament fight, she looked like a cross between a French courtesan and a 1940’s pinup lass, but her hair was simple, pulled back into a ponytail, he could see her front hair was blond , but the back was silver. But enough about her appearance, back to the most important matter at hand. As Ryuu charged at her, he saw her toss two objects down below into the water, closing her eyes, even placing her hand behind her ear as she stood up straight, in a neutral stance. Even though it seemed like she was merely trying to listen for the sound of the two objects falling into the water, Ryuu knew otherwise. She was trying to hear his footsteps, and to be honest, it wasn't hard, seeing as he WAS running right at her. He saw she managed to dodge his uppercut by bending into a low duck, before trying to swipe his feet. But that wasn't the only strike he had aimed at her.
As he brought his left fist back, he saw her catch his right fist to try and soften the blow, before sliding her hands down his wrist, and attempt to swing him around, possibly try to send him off the edge. But Ryuu wasn't going to let that happen. As she did so, he snapped his left hand, and grabbed onto her arm tightly, so as he was sent flying near the edge, he would be still holding onto her, even as she released him. While he maintained his grip on her, he would yank down on her arm, jerking her down as he placed his right hand out, his feet grinding against the ground slightly, as he came to a stop. Once he came to a halt, he would then yank Bastille towards him, trying to put her off-balance, releasing his grip on her as he did so, and then flipping backwards off her right side, his left, he would end up behind her. He would then attempt to stick his arms beneath her armpits, and then hook both his arms onto her, if it worked, it would prevent her from turning around and attacking him. Sure she had her legs to attack, but unless Bastille had eyes at the back of her head, it would probably be difficult for her to aim a kick at him, or try for a nut shot. Besides, he had his legs too, and could defend himself if she happen to try it.

Bastille would allow him to hold on and as he preformed his movements she was always watching. Her eyes had been taught to read muscle movement and it was often that this helped her predict further movements. So as he went to grab her from behind she let him come up to get her and in doing so she allowed herself enough time to push down a little and jump up into the air just as he grabbed her and didn’t really establish his hold. (for when he had tried to throw her off balance she rather faked being so in order to better ready herself for the attack. )
Her eyes however didn’t quite tell the future in full so she was wrong to assume his hold would let go. She however didn’t mind hoping that flipping backwards over him with enough force would either dislocate his sockets, force him to flip with her thus lending her the upper hand with landing first, or forcing him to let go. She would then drop low for a lower cut kick at his knees before pirouetting into a standing position and kicking high up into the air. She tried to keep her turn kicks so fast he didn’t have time to grab her, however it belittled the force her attacks had on him. She was being rather bold in her movements willing to take a kick or a punch in return for her almost getting a hit. If he chose to grab her leg and flip her she would simply make sure her body landed on the platform and she would quickly recuperate. If he simply blocked or let hit she would put down her foot and go to smash her hand, flat palm into his neck, chest, and upper palm motion to his face trying to push his nose into his face. The movements where swift.

So it seemed she had allowed him to grab hold of her, but Ryuu was unfazed by this turn of events, nor was he unfazed when she pushed down a little, jumping into the air just as he grabbed onto her, but considering he had not established his hold on her yet, as soon as she leaped into the air, he released her, and ducked low charging beneath her before strafing to his right and turned around, putting some distance between the two of them. He then saw her drop low for a lower cut kick at his knees before pirouetting into a standing position and kicking high up into the air, but Ryuu merely had to move back a step to avoid her low kick from connecting with his knees, and as for her high kick, he brought his right knee up, before snapping his leg out in a roundhouse kick, sending it colliding with her own leg, effectively countering it, but the kick also held another purpose. Once colliding with Bastille's leg, he would bring his leg back down, before seeing her launch an assault on him, trying to slam her hand into his neck, chest, and trying to smash his nose into his face.
But Ryuu wouldn't let that happen. Although her movements were swift, the power behind them was compromised, and he managed to grab onto her wrist as she aimed to slam her hand into his chest, having blocked the first strike to his neck, while at the same time, his right hand shot out in one swift movement, at first aiming like a flat-palmed strike towards her chest, even his eyes were locked onto her chest, making it seem more and more like that was his intended target, but at the last and I mean the very last moment, his hand almost touching her chest, his hand changed targets, and shot straight up, his hand would then wrap around her throat, choking the air out of her. Once his grip on her wrist was established, and if it worked, his hand wrapped around her throat, wasting no time, Ryuu loosened his grip slightly on Bastille's wrist, but not enough to let her use her arm, and slid his hand up her arm, before coming to rest on her elbow. Just as he had done to Sara and Gabriel, now he was going to do to Bastille. He was going to attempt to break her elbow. Gripping her elbow tightly, he would begin to pull her elbow towards him, bending it the opposite way.
Cruel perhaps, but Ryuu was determined to win. He hadn't forgotten about Bastille's free arm, but he would then throw all his weight forward and a bit to the left, attempting to slam her into the ground, if it worked, he would crush her windpipe against the ground with his body weight. Not missing a beat, Ryuu began to move forward, sliding up the girl's body, until he was straddling her by her core, which effectively rendered her legs useless. No doubt she would try to slam her arm into him, to try and get him to release her, but in this position, there was no way in heck she'd be able to keep him from cutting air off in this position. And no doubt the blow itself would hurt a ton. Plus, her strikes would not have not power behind them, not when you're attempting to try and breath.

He thought she had him. She knew the moment he grabbed her wrist it wouldn’t be to hard to get out of before…she saw him muscles and her speed enabled her to miss his go for her throat bending backwards and cart-wheeling back to avoid him grabbing any part of her there for forcing her hand up and away through his thumb. She then would take it, if she could, before he pulled it back and would turn herself sharply as if in a tango and use her elbow to smash it straight into his face. She would then twirl out letting go of his hand and smash her leg in a round house kick in the middle of his spine, using such strength it could smash a concrete wall.
However his hand had left a bruise on her wrist, it had been painful to release the grip and his go for her throat and caused her to rip her skirt. Not only that but his own trying to strangle her…she could calculate form the way he moved his body and muscles he was more of a grappling type. If none of the above prevailed she would simply cartwheel backwards again and then she would stand in the ready. This guy was serious…the one things she was pretty sure was he didn’t know she was just as serious too.

Did Ryuu think he had Bastille? Not in a million years. Her speed allowed her to dodge his lunge for her throat, as he saw her bend backwards and cartwheel, forcing him to release his grip on her elbow and prevent him from trying to break it. Well played m'lady... His hand, the moment it missed its target, would snap back to his side immediately, his other hand blocking her hand, preventing her from latching onto his wrist. It did not however, stop her from spinning around like they were doing the tango instead of fighting, and proceed to try to smash her elbow into his face. Not going to happen. Ryuu ducked low, avoiding her elbow, but it did not stop there. She proceeded to launch a roundhouse kick, trying to smash the middle of his spine, but again, a simple catch with his hands stopped her leg from inflicting any further damage, though the shock of the kick and the power behind it did reverberate through his arms, that had been a close one.
His grip on her wrist did not go without consequences though. He had left a bruise on her wrist, and his lunge had ripped Bastille's skirt. Now while that probably would've stopped any guy dead in their tracks and have them stare like a brain-dead loon, Ryuu was not so much like that, he was concentrating so intensely, everything else was unimportant to him. Gripping her leg in his hands, he would then proceed to throw her leg back, trying to put her off-balance. Both his hands planted firmly on the ground, Ryuu would then straighten up before driving himself backwards, putting some distance between the both of them. He was in fact, not the grappler type, he actually preferred long distance strikes, but he was more than capable of inflicting close-distance strikes as well. He could tell she was just as serious as he was. Both of them wanted to win this fight, but in the end, only one would come out on top, and Ryuu was determined to win.

Bastille was thrown off balance. Unfortunately her mind was ahead of her and her body just simply didn’t move fast enough. In her head she would have dodges and lodged many more hits to his system. She was on the ground and she sat up quickly, somersaulting into a crouch as she stared at him blankly. The fall had caused her lip to tear slightly, she had been biting it a bit. Blood ran down the side and she rolled her lips together as if it where lipstick. She then whipped the excess away and stood up as he stayed away from her. She put her hands up again and waited for him to come at her. She wasn’t going to come to him, that was the first wrong move in any fight…she knew that.
Her hair had come loose and was dancing about her shoulders and her body ached from points of contact his had made. She was slightly wishing her sword was at her side. She fought so much better with her Japanese katana or her rapier. Well, better with the rapier seeing as she was better trained in fencing and was simply a mediate kendo student. However she incorporated gymnastics into both styles and it helped her a lot in fighting. She remembered how before the incident at 259 she could fight blindfolded. Now she was simply just a strong fighter. That was all…nothing more or less. She sighed and waited. Taking a deep breathe she let the same focus flow into her…there was no blind fold…but she would much rather focus on other senses. Her eyes shot open concentrating only on his muscle, they where wide and somewhat distant looking; twitching out of control. Her grip and stance however was firm. She waited for him to come at her. It was time to take everything Amtrum, her fencing instructor, blaze, homi, the assassin force…everything and win this battle.

Ryuu continued to maintain the cool and calm expression on his face as he saw Bastille had been thrown off-balance, landing on the ground, before sitting up quickly, somersaulting into a crouch as he saw her stare blankly at him. The fall had caused her lip to tear slightly, it seemed she had been biting it a bit. He saw blood run down the side as she rolled her lips together as if it was lipstick, before wiping the excess blood away and stood up as Ryuu placed some distance between the both of them. He saw her bring both her hands up again. It seemed she was waiting for him to attack, but Ryuu was not so impulsive, he was not going attack blindly or rashly, despite the fact he was sometimes very brash. This fight however, he would keep his cool and stay calm. He brought his hands up in front of him in a simple karate stance, he could see her hair had come loose and was dancing about her shoulders, his own hair was kept out of his eyes simply by the toque on his head.
He heard her sigh, before taking a deep breath, as he saw her eyes shoot open, concentrating on his muscles, he could see her stance was firm. Ryuu took a deep breath, before exhaling slowly, getting his focus back, and breathing helped, as his eyes shot open. He then began to circle her, his eyes glued to her, watching her every move. But before he had even taken a single step, he heard the sound of a loud click reverberate through the arena, followed by a loud splash. Ryuu froze, as he slowly turned his head to look behind him slightly, as his eyes narrowed into slits. The outer edge of the arena had been detached, the arena had gotten smaller, they had lost about 5 feet of room to move around on. Ryuu slowly turned his head back to Bastille, as he once more started to circle her, his eyes never wavering from her. He wasn't going to rush in and attack, that would be the action of a fool. No, if this fight was ever going to end, sooner or later, she would have to come to him, and when she did, he would be ready. His hands out in front in a relaxed but posed position, the shadows hid Ryuu's eyes from view, giving him a slightly menacing look. It was now or never. He would win, no matter what it took, he would come out on top. All that could be determined was, who was more determined to win? Ryuu, or Bastille? Only time would tell...

Bastille suddenly jumped up and out of the way from the departing floor. Thank you god for quick reflexes, and she landed in front of Ryuu. Her crimson hues acted fast for his muscles where going nowhere soon and she took the moment to swerve quickly in her kick to kick out his legs. She would then hold her hand above her face as a block from any attacks from his upper body. She realized this guy was keeping his cool…his tongue held tight his eyes focus. This guy was hard to get a hit on, next step face him with to many attacks. If she combined her speed just right she could use her arm as if it where the dull blade of her rapier. She knew where to go and with a flick she somersaulted forward and pushed herself up with her arms going to fall down by kicking onto him.
Something like a break dancer she twisted her body fast enough so he would have to block about 6 kicks in a row with speed and agility. Her heels might provide to be of some use. She would then lift herself with only one hand going to use her other to grab his leg and pull it up as she let her legs fall to the ground finally and she stood up getting read for a punching or kicking assault depending on weather any of her previous attacks hit or not. She would not give him the time to attack her. If she could hold off that long she might just distract him enough to get him to “accidentally” fall over the edge.

Kick his legs out? I don't think so. The moment Ryuu saw Bastille jump up and out of the way of the disconnected floor, although it seemed he was relaxed, that was far from the truth. In reality, he was more focused then you could ever imagine. The moment she swerved and aimed to kick his legs out, all he had to do was shift his front leg, pulling it back a bit, as the kick sailed in front of him, hitting nothing but air. It was pretty obvious that it was hard to get a hit on Ryuu, he was so focused, even overwhelming him with attacks may not work. The moment the kick had sailed past him harmlessly, he saw Bastille somersault forwards, pushing herself up with her arms to fall down on him by kicking onto him. Not gonna fly. Ryuu reacted immediately, and dodged to the left, he felt the kick clip his right shoulder, but it didn't hurt that much. Next, as Bastille was falling, he would swerve around, his left leg sticking out, aiming to sweep her arms out from under her. Like a break dancer, he saw her twist her body, and saw her begin to rapidly kick, keeping himself close to the ground, most of the kicks flying above his head.
At the last one, he used his hands, and pushed himself back, tilting his head back to avoid the kick. He then saw her lift herself up with one hand, her other hand aiming to grab his leg and pull it up, but instead of her grabbing his leg, he reacted immediately, snapping his hand out and grabbed her wrist. His feet planted firmly on the ground, Ryuu would then yank her arm forward, once again trying to send her falling to the ground if his last one had not worked. If it worked, his grip still on her wrist, Ryuu would then grabbed onto the arm with his other hand, and using the strength in his arms, would try to lift her up, and spun around, straightening up as he did so, gaining some momentum, before releasing her arm and attempt to toss her across the arena, possibly over the edge, into the water below.
