The blonde was doing her thing, walking around the park. She was looking for trouble. Something inside her had changed, and she was out for blood. There was a bit of it on her knuckles, a good sign that she had run into someone who had decided to give her a bit of an attitude already. Her blood was pumping, and she was still itching for a fight. So here Kate was out in the sunlight, looking for another tussle to get into.
She was wearing a black tight shirt that exposed her tummy, and that was sleeveless. She had a pair of white leather pants on, and a white leather jacket on over that. A slender chain of a belt was roped across the exposed skin. Sunglasses pushed up and keeping her hair out of her eyes. Her full lips were pulled into a scowl. Kate was about to just tear into the first damn person she saw... when she spotted someone she had fought before. A grin broke out on those lips. She was going to enjoy this.
"Oy! Gotten any stronger?!"
She launched herself at Ryuu as soon as she was done yelling. Aiming to slam her right elbow straight into his face if he didn't move.

Ryuu was taking a shortcut through the park, wondering what he should have for lunch when he got home, his hands in his pockets. The minute he stepped out of the park and past the fence, he heard someone shout out. "Oy! Gotten any stronger?!" Ryuu stopped in his tracks and turned his head, looking behind him, before seeing who it was that had shouted out in broad daylight. "Kate?" Ryuu said in disbelief, as he stared at Kate, who had launched herself at him the minute she had finished yelling. He reacted immediately, dodging her right elbow that she had intended to slam straight into his face. "Nice to see you too..." He said gruffly, as he strafed backwards, putting some space in between the both of them. So much for lunch...
Ryuu in fact, did get stronger, the last time he had fought Kate, she had knocked him out faster than he could blink, and it landed him a hospital trip with an injury. This time was different. He had gotten better. How much better, was yet to be seen. But this time, he wouldn't let himself end up in the hospital again. His hands held loosely in front of him, his legs spread apart, Ryuu focused on Kate intensely, a look of sheer concentration set upon his face. Bringing his left hand up, he then made the universal gesture for, "Bring it," to Kate, before slipping his left hand back into its original position. He wasn't going to rush into this fight, he wasn't going to be reckless like last time. Looks like I'm going to have to work for my lunch today...

There was something dancing in those emerald eyes that hadn't been there before. If he had gotten stronger, then it would be fun! At least, if he could match her. She had gotten stronger as well, and faster, and tougher. The blonde lifted an eyebrow, smirking at him. So he wasn't going to charge or anything? He was lucky he had dodged that first one. She was faster, and Kate damn well knew it. The blonde was getting excited.
"Yes, yes. Nice too see you too cutie."
Be, be aggressive. The blonde launched herself forward, straight at him. It was very different from how she had reacted last time they had fought. Very different. She was out for blood, that was what was different this time around. Not that he really knew that or anything. She was going for a simple strike to the face with her right, wanting to see how he reacted. And she'd react to that. Turn it on him somehow.

Ryuu stood his ground even as he saw Kate raise an eyebrow and smirk at him, yes, he wasn't going to charge. He had been lucky that he managed to dodge her initial strike, he knew Kate was faster than he was, but if he could react to her attacks, then MAYBE he'd get through this fight alright. Emphasis on the word maybe. "Yes, yes. Nice too see you too cutie." "Thanks, I feel well loved." He replied gruffly, preparing himself as he clapped his hands together, he saw Kate launch herself forward, straight at him, her speed very much obvious. But Ryuu had prepared himself long before she even started to charge at him, so he was ready... for the most part.
She seemed to be going for a simple strike with her right, aiming for his face, as he evaded her strike by ducking under her arm. Once he had done so, he would launch a quick left hook at her. If he needed to, he would use his Qi on her, not to win, but to ensure that he didn't end up half-dead in the park. His right arm kept close to him, in case he needed to defend or counter, Ryuu was different this time. He was determined to hold his own against Kate. This time, he wasn't going to go down so easily. He just hoped she didn't mind getting burned... literally.

Now granted, he had dodged. However, Ryuu was much slower than Kate herself. The girl was quick to react to anything and everything he was going to throw at her. So even as he dodged, she was already launching her next attack. He ducked under, and Kate slammed her feet into the ground, and pivoted backwards. The arm that had been attacking before changing, her right arm moving into an angle as it slammed backward toward his skull. She was fast, and strong.
And Kate wouldn't stop there. She wanted to put him down. It wasn't anything personal, it was just Kate letting off some steam. He just happened to be in the way. Her arm would strike or miss, and Kate would twist her entire body around so that she was pretty much standing behind him.
So, he had ducked, placing his back toward her back. She had tried to elbow him in the back of the skull, then twirled so that his back was facing her front. From here? Try lifting her right leg and planting it in his back, smacking him into the ground. She wasn't going to let him have a moment to gather his thoughts, much less react.

Now wasn't this just dandy. Although he managed to dodge Kate's attack, she had already prepared her next strike. He saw slam her feet into the ground and pivot backwards, swinging her right arm out at an angle, aiming to slam her elbow into the back of his skull. Though his left arm was still in motion, Ryuu snapped his right arm out immediately, and caught Kate's arm in his hand, though the back of his hand did end up slamming into his head, but at least the blow was softened somewhat. As his left arm hurtled towards her, he saw from the corner of his eye her body twist, as she disappeared from his line of vision, which meant she was now behind him. His left hand now back at his side, he felt her plant her leg into his back and try to smack him into the ground.
Although he was sent forward, because he still had a grip on her arm, she would be pulled forward along with him as well. As he began to fall to the ground, he activated his Qi, engulfing his hands in flames, instantly burning Kate, as his eyes turned from gray to red. From there, using the grip he still had on her arm, he would attempt to swing her off to the side, releasing his grip on her arm, as he brought his right arm in front of him, and caught himself before he kissed the grass, though his hands did end up burning the patches of grass where his hands had landed. He then quickly got to his feet, his hands still engulfed in flames. He had a bit of a headache from when his hand had slammed into his head, but for the most part, he was still focused, alert. He wasn't going to go down so easily like last time. His hands held loosely in front of him, Ryuu waited for Kate to make her move.

Well, wasn't this interesting? He had flame power too, just like Matrim!!! Go flamers! No really, it wasn't the first time Kate had ever had a burning hand on her skin. Hardly the first darling. The blonde hadn't really been expecting it from him however, and was a little stunned by the fact that he could do it. Some people had very similar Qis, now didn't they?
They pretty much got some distance between the two of them and Kate looked at her hand, then back at him and his flaming hands of doom. Well, this was going to be funner than she had first thought. More of a challenge at least. She licked her lips and grinned at him, before she started to circle him slowly.
"I don't recall you being able to do that last time cutie. Good to see you can learn new tricks."
Her Qi was more than enough to help her out in a tight situation, but if he could burn her? What good was close range combat gunna do for her? Kate had to figure this one out quick.

Yes, Ryuu's Qi was almost like Matrim's, the only difference was, Ryuu could cover his hands, and only his hands, no other part of his body. It seemed that Kate was slightly stunned by the fact that he had a Qi to use, but in that little moment of surprise, Ryuu had placed some distance between the both of them, as he saw Kate look at her hand, then at him and his flame engulfed hands and red eyes, before licking her lips and grinning at him as she began to circle him slowly like a hawk. He in turn, mimicked her, and circled her as well, his eyes never leaving her for an instant, like his gaze was glued onto her, which it was. "I don't recall you being able to do that last time cutie. Good to see you can learn new tricks." "You know what they say, don't judge a book by its cover." Ryuu retorted. In this case, this book could burn you.
Kate now knew Ryuu had a Qi, but Ryuu didn't know she had one. And even if he did know, what good would it do her against burns? Not very much. But back to the fight. Ryuu, while he circled, slowly closed the distance, as soon as he was in range, he would launch a quick uppercut with his left hand as a distraction, while that was happening, he would extend his index and middle finger of his right hand out, as his right arm soared beneath his left arm which had stopped and pulled back before completing the attack, now close to his chest, aiming to strike at the top of Kate's ribs, just before the large plate of bone covering the heart, to knock the wind out of her. Though if his attack didn't work, he still had his left arm to use to counter.

Yes, the boy had a Qi. One that would be dangerous to Kate if his hands touched her. So she would have to attack close and keep those hands off her body. Sounded like an every day job with the man handlers around here. So, maybe this would work out after all.
So when he came in to strike, Kate was ready. The blonde knew that they were pretty well matched, so when the first hit came out, she blocked. The second? Well her other arm was reacting to. And she didn't hit the fist, no Kate was aiming for the forearm. Her left hand had gone for the fake and her right one had deflected the real hit. Except she really wasn't going for a deflect... Kate was pushing forward with her right hand on his pushing it into his chest. If he wanted to damage to her and light her on fire, he'd have to do it through himself.
Her right leg came up, kicking at his left leg's knee cap. If everything went alright, she was going to be doing some damage. If he dodged, well she'd have to react to that and just keep going.

They were pretty evenly matched, with regards to reaction speed. Ryuu however, couldn't match Kate in agility, but then again, speed wasn't everything right? Anyways, she managed to react to both his attacks, feint and all. Her left arm had blocked his feint, as he immediately pulled his left arm back. As for his real strike? She had deflected his strike, but had aimed not for his fist, but for his forearm, resulting in her pushing with her right hand on his, aiming for his chest. Trying to use his own power against him huh? Wasn't going to fly with Ryuu. Timing his dodge, he leaned his left shoulder backwards, as his own hand flew quite close to his chest, but not close enough to burn him. He then saw from the bottom of his vision, Kate lift her right leg up, aiming to kick it at his left knee cap.
But instead of her right leg colliding with his knee cap, he lifted his left leg, and slammed it into her leg, to counter her blow. From here, although she still had a grip on his right arm, the minute her arm came close enough, he snapped his left hand out and grabbed hold of her arm, to try and give her a burn and get her to release his arm, though the pain would only be first degree. Still, you have to admit, the attack will hurt regardless. Flames, no matter what degree, will hurt either way. Though if his attack didn't work, he would then swing his right arm out, in an attempt to hit her with the back of her own arm.

He went with it hit, for hit. When their legs met Kate noted that he wasn't as strong as her. Granted, he was much stronger than he had been the first time they had tangoed... but now? Ha. No. Still not as strong as Kate was.
However, his second hand clamped down on her hand and she grunted. Well, more like growled. But if he was going to burn her, then she would use it to burn him too. She used her strength and tried to throw all of their arms into his face. Her other hand would be working over time as it tried to slam it's self into his ribs as many times as possible while both his hands were otherwise occupied. Why? Because he couldn't block his ribs with his hands busy and balancing mostly on one leg.
Her own leg had retreated back to helping her balance as she did this. He should be too busy handling all that to do much. Even if he managed to block, dodge or defend a bit, could he defend from it all? Kate was trying to hammer some of his ribs in. Good times.

Let's be honest here. Ryuu knew he wasn't as strong as Kate. Granted, he had grown stronger than the last time they had fought, but so had Kate, for when their legs collided, he winced as a shock of pain vibrated through his entire leg. His grip on her arm however, made her growl, so that had to count for something. Kate however, had other ideas, and wasn't going to stand being burned by him. So what did she do? She threw all their arms in his face, as he firmly planted his leg down on the ground, and had no choice but to deactivate his Qi, he needed all the heat in his body he could keep to continue on. He winced however, when he felt her hand slam into his ribs, he knew it was going to get fractured.
He wasn't going to, however, let her break his ribs repeatedly. So the minute her hand came swooping in to slam into his ribs once more, he would snap his right hand out, and extending his index and middle finger, would aim for her right shoulder. At the same time, because they were in such close proximity, he would swing his left hand and aim a flat-palmed strike at her elbow, to try and break it. He may not be able to completely stop Kate from breaking his ribs, but he could at least try and slow her movement down, if only temporarily.

Ooooh boy, this was gunna hurt in the morning, wasn't it? Except for the little fact that hitting her in the shoulder joint, since she tried to dodge out of the way was pretty much kicking her Qi in for her. Her body was kind of on auto pilot, and to take the damage that was done to her shoulder, it popped out of place. It stung, and hurt like it normally would, but the damage was much less then it could have been due to her wonderful little Qi. Her elbow also popped out of joint, but didn't break from his strike.
She just smiled at him, through the sudden pain. Instead of people going for the head shots like normal, people were going for the arm shots of late. Wooo! Her arms were already bruised, she'd have to do some chilling with ice later to keep them from swelling.
The arm that had flung in his face? She swung it low suddenly. That's right, aiming to punch him in the crotch. She was a VERY dirty fighter. Any male wishing to have children shouldn't fight with Kate.

So Ryuu's strike managed to connect with Kate's shoulder, despite the fact she tried to dodge, so it would still cause her pain due to it popping out, but not excruciating pain like intended. His other strike also connected, but it caused her elbow to pop out, instead of breaking it like he had been intending to do. Oh well, a strike's a strike right? Ryuu saw Kate smile at him, which made him extremely cautious, he liked a good fight as much as the next guy, but this smile? Well it put him on guard, and for good reason. The arm that Kate had flung into his face, suddenly came flying low, very low, like plane crashing into the Twin Towers low. She was aiming for his crotch. This was going to hurt wasn't it? Or would it? Ryuu reared his right arm back, before sending it slamming downwards, aiming to slam it into Kate's forearm, to try and deflect the blow, or at the very least, send a shock wave of pain running through Kate's arm as he shifted his body, so that if her blow did connect, it would only hit the side of his crotch, instead of a full-on frontal assault.
Should it work, he would grab onto her wrist, and yank her arm upwards, and keeping a tight grip on her wrist, would proceed to launch another flat-palmed strike at her elbow, to try and break it. She wanted to fight dirty, well Ryuu wasn't going to take it lying down. He would fight back and defend himself with everything he had. She wasn't going to win easily like last time. He hadn't forgotten about Kate's right arm through, and while his strike was soaring towards her elbow, his eyes kept an eye out for any possible strike she might try to execute while he was occupied, which, was more than likely to happen. He'd be ready for anything she'd throw his way though.
